They Saw Something And Said Something And Yet The FBI Did Nothing – The Valentine’s Day Massacre
Seventeen families are mourning their dead. And authorities KNEW he was a risk.
If you see something, say something. That’s the advice, isn’t it?
But what about when people DID say something.
Some pieces of the puzzle were there to be seen.
Details are starting to emerge about the shooter, who recently was orphaned, stopped getting mental health treatment about a year ago and owned his own AR-15 rifle.
Students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School painted the picture of a weird and disturbed teen who sold knives out of a lunchbox, bragged about killing animals and was finally kicked out of school for fighting and carrying bullets in his backpack.
It also appears that the FBI missed out on an opportunity to intervene before the shooting, when a bail bondsman in Mississippi last year alerted the feds about an alarming online message Cruz wrote saying he was ‘going to be a professional school shooter’.

And as we’ve covered elsewhere, the FBI KNEW he was a threat. For some reason, he still fell through the cracks. Feds were TOLD he had specific designs to be a ‘school shooter’.
If one student’s eyewitness account is to be taken at face value, his attitude was an open secret among the other students. She claims to have joked with him that she had expected HE would be the culprit in a school shooting.
But local school and police officials didn’t get a heads-up. We don’t even know if Nikolas got a visit.
Reports are that FBI ‘followed up’ but ‘couldn’t identify’ the author of the comment.
Whether you accept that explanation or not, there’s more to the story.
They knew he had been treated for mental health issues, and had discontinued his treatment… that he had been expelled from school… that he had been orphaned… that he was already ‘not permitted to bring a backpack to school’.
But he somehow passed a background check?
We love our law enforcement. They do a helluva job in most respects.
But in this case? Something about this just doesn’t add up.
And a whole lot of people paid one HELL of a price for it.
