California’s Seeing An Big Uptick In Trump Support – Here’s Why

Think Jerry Brown may have been misreading the good people of California?

Are the public stands they’re making starting to backfire? It looks that way.

First, what are Californian legislators doing to aggravate the public?

It’s pretty obvious right now what Jerry Brown’s key goals are.

1) Oppose Trump.

2) Support Unfettered Illegal immigration, whatever the Constitution may say about immigration being explicitly a FEDERAL jurisdiction.

He’s playing chicken with Washington over the National Guard, even now.

When Californian citizens have given lawmakers hell over it, they were ignored.

Of course they were. They didn’t care what the public said, their minds were made up — for very cynical reasons.

The Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund circulated a memo on Monday calling illegal immigrants brought here at a young age — so-called “Dreamers” — a “critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success.”

The memo, co-authored by former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, was sent around to allies calling on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”

Second: What is the Public reaction?

Local governments are going rogue against the State.

More local governments in California are resisting the state’s efforts to resist the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, and political experts see politics at play as Republicans try to fire up voters in a state where the GOP has grown weak.

Since the Jeff Sessions-led Department of Justice sued California last month over its so-called “sanctuary state” law limiting police collaboration with immigration agents, at least a dozen local governments have voted to either join or support the lawsuit or for resolutions opposing the state’s position. Those include the Board of Supervisors in Orange County, which has more than 3 million people.

More action is coming this week, with leaders in the Orange County city of Los Alamitos scheduled to vote Monday on a proposal for a local law to exempt the community of 12,000 from the state law. On Tuesday, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors is meeting to consider joining the Trump administration lawsuit.

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.

There’s a men’s version

And a women’s version, too

Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
