Clash Poll: Should The DOJ & FBI Turnover What They Supposedly Have On Michael Flynn?

Published on May 12, 2018

The Senate Judiciary Committee has been stonewalled again, now they are being VERY specific in their demands.

Will they be ignored, too? And if so, on what grounds.

It’s a pattern we keep seeing.

We get wailing and gnashing of teeth from the bureaucratic officials telling us why it is impossible for them to comply with any requests for information on the grounds that they are too “sooper-sekret” for even the Senate Judiciary Committee — to whom they are accountable — to even gaze upon.

You’d think this was Indiana Jones opening up the Ark of the Covenant or something.

And then, after they are forced, kicking and screaming, to release UNREDACTED versions of the documents they have been requesting, we see a whole lot of bureaucratic cover-your-ass was really why they were so loath to release details.

Remember the Strzok texts? Same issue.

What are they trying to hold back this time? The very information that will either support or disprove the entire case Muller threw against Flynn.

The question they’re trying to resolve is: Which Comey should we actually believe?

Should we believe Comey #1, who told us “agents saw no change in his demeanor or tone that would say he was being untruthful”?

Or should we believe book-shilling Comey who denies any memory of those statements?

The easiest way would be to go straight to the source.

Or, it WOULD be if that source weren’t stonewalling. The February 15, 2017 request for information relating to Flynn that requested that transcript was given many things, but not the transcript they had specifically requested. That was more than a year ago, and legal fees have pushed Flynn to the brink of bankruptcy in the meantime.

If the very people who interviewed him can affirm the claim that he wasn’t being dishonest or evasive, doesn’t that make Mueller’s investigation of him look like the politics of personal destruction?

How many others from Trump’s inner circle have been driven away because of mounting legal fees. Is that the real reason Hope Hicks left? Some have suggested her legal fees had exceeded her income.

Of key interest are the 302 forms. These are the forms used by the FBI interviewers to summarize any interviews conducted.

That is what Grassley is (again) demanding to be released to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Given Comey’s contradictory statements, Grassley instructed the Deputy Attorney General and FBI Director to provide to the committee by no later than May 25, 2018, everything requested in the “February 15, 2017 letter, including the transcripts of the reportedly intercepted calls and any FBI reports summarizing them; and the FBI agents’ 302s memorializing their interview of Flynn and 1A supporting docs, including the agents’ notes.”

Why is this issue of such great importance? So we can see them as they really are, before anyone has an opportunity to ‘sanitize’ or ‘modify’ them. What kind of a cynic would believe that the FBI would modify an official form of such serious importance?

That’s a great question:

The reason that the 302 forms are of especially high interest regarding Flynn is that reports have surfaced indicating that recently fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe might have instructed FBI agents to change the information they recorded on the forms.

“I have been told tonight by a number of sources … that McCabe may have asked FBI agents to actually change their 302s,” investigative journalist Sara Carter told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Should the FBI cough up that information?

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.
