Dear Evangelical NeverTrumpkins: How Will You Disparage What Trump Just Did For Jerusalem?
Never Trumpers’ list of reasons he would ‘obviously’ fail as a President keeps getting shorter and shorter.
At what point are they going to admit that maybe – just maybe – they all misjudged him?
Say whatever you want about his personal life, his rough speech, and his marital history — what history will best remember Trump’s Presidency for are the things he has done.
Appointing judges that uphold the Constitution? Check.
Slashing Governmental Red tape? Check.
First big Tax cut in thirty-some-odd years? Check.
On and on the list goes, of accomplishments both foreign and domestic. But of particular interest to the Evangelicals will be what he’s done concerning Israel.
He stood against world opinion and acknowledged their historical capital city, Jerusalem, as their real and current national capital.
Congress passed that resolution. It was a promise made by every President since Clinton, and a promise BROKEN by every President since Clinton — until now.

As the previous Vice President might say, it’s a big (expletive) deal.
Trump in a video address said that the U.S. will ‘always be a great friend of Israel and a partner in the cause of freedom and peace’ while honoring the nation and the city it claims as its capital as a ‘testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people.’
‘We extend a hand in friendship to Israel, the Palestinians and to all of their neighbors,’ Trump said in a video address. ‘May there be peace.’
In a tweet shortly after he said, ‘Big day for Israel. Congratulations!’
