Donate $1M, and Pledge Anti-NRA … ‘or else’.
Does he not realize that these are exactly the jackboot tactics that justify private gun ownership as a curb on government tyranny?
Nice Grocery chain you’ve got there… pity if anything should happen to it.

How is this any different from those illegal Mafia protection rackets? He even named a dollar figure and a charity that is his ‘price’ to not go ahead with tactics that will damage him.
Give me a share of the money you earned, so I can have it. And in exchange, I won’t destroy your business.
This is what happens when a young punk with delusions of grandeur hooks up with Media Matters types who have a well-defined (published, actually) war plan on how do destroy the reputation and livelihood of anyone who dares disagree with their politics.
David Hogg just gave an ultimatum to Publix.
Pay up, and denounce the NRA — or pay a price.
Where does he think he is… East Germany? There’s a reason East Germany didn’t last. And this is it.
People don’t appreciate being pushed around by those who pretend to be their betters.
Publix supported a political candidate. That is their right.
The candidate doesn’t have a David-Hogg-approved political agenda. So they ‘must be punished’… or something. This from the guy who pinned this at the top of his Twitter feed:
If those ideas of yours are so righteous and compelling, defend them with logic and principles, not vitriol, emotion, and threats… if you can.
But no… we go straight to the threats.
The public face of the gun control movement demanded $1 million Thursday from the Florida-based grocery chain in a tweet, just one day after calling for a “die-in” protest at its stores.
Publix is being targeted by Mr. Hogg for its support of Adam Putnam, a Republican gubernatorial candidate who is now the state’s agricultural commissioner. The Tampa Bay Times reported earlier this week that Publix had given $670,000 during the last three years to Putnam campaigns
Did it occur to him that this just might backfire?

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.
Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.
That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.
There’s a men’s version…
And a women’s version, too…
Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
