Three Americans are coming home! It didn’t even take a pallet of cash in unmarked bills, either.
Not only that, President Trump said he’s going to meet them at Andrews Air Force Base at 2:00 am when they arrive back safely in the good ol’ U.S. of A.
Let’s hope that the situation for these political prisoners is much better than that of Otto Warmbier. His father, Fred, claims that his son wasn’t in a ‘coma’ when he arrived home, but that ‘Otto had severe brain damage. Otto was systematically tortured and intentionally injured ‘ by the Kim regime.
Warmbier’s return after his 17-month detention in North Korea and his death just 6 days later has revealed just how horrific and brutal the Kim regime is to prisoners. It also made it vitally clear that it is absolutely imperative that we bring all American prisoners home from North Korea.
President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has secured the release of three Americans imprisoned by the North Korean regime, and promised to greet them personally when they get to the U.S. in the middle of the night.
‘I am pleased to inform you that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the air and on his way back from North Korea with the 3 wonderful gentlemen that everyone is looking so forward to meeting. They seem to be in good health,’ Trump wrote on Twitter.
He added in a second tweet that ‘Secretary Pompeo and his “guests” will be landing at Andrews Air Force Base at 2:00 A.M. in the morning. I will be there to greet them. Very exciting!’

Here’s a quick 411 on the three Americans coming home.
Kim Dong-chul, a Korean-American missionary, was arrested for spying and after a one-day trial, was sentenced to 10 years hard labor.
Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (PUST) accounting and business teacher, Kim Sang-duk (also known as Tony Kim,) was arrested as he was boarding a plane in Pyongyang and accused of attempting to overthrow the North Korean government.
Agricultural expert, Kim Hak-song, was teaching rice growing at PUST in order to improve North Korean agricultural practices. Kim was also an ordained pastor affiliated with the Oriental Mission Church in Los Angeles. It’s unclear if Kim’s faith had anything to do with his detention.
Pompeo’s visit came a day after the despot whom the U.S diplomat referred to as ‘Chairman Un’ made his second trip to China in less than two months, meeting President Xi Jinping and discussing the ongoing international talks over North Korea’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs.
During that visit, announced only after it was over, Kim told Xi he hoped relevant parties would take ‘phased’ and ‘synchronized’ measures to realize denuclearization and lasting peace on the Korean peninsula, according to Chinese state media.
Separately, Trump and Xi discussed developments on the Korean peninsula and Kim’s visit to China during a phone call on Tuesday morning, the White House said.
