At some point, they might have to start working from principles, rather than victim groups… because the lines they used to count on are getting blurry.

Then they watched Kanye declare that there is no obligation for Black people to vote Democrat, but rather, that they should think for themselves.
Guys like Dave Rubin (who is married to a dude) have supported the Christian Cake Bakers.
And now?
After the Pulse Nightclub incident, an unexpected group is lining up to embrace their Second Amendment Rights to protect themselves.
Meet the group nicknamed the ‘Gay NRA’… the ‘Pink Pistols’.
“I don’t want to get beaten to death, stabbed and burnt alive,” a slight woman with long blond hair and a checked shirt says. “I want a gun to feel equal.”
She is a member of one of the United States’ fastest-growing gun clubs, the jauntily named Pink Pistols.
Two years after the massacre at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, gay, lesbian and transgender Americans are nervous. According to the Human Rights Center (HRC), a US LGBTI advocacy group, 52 gay people were murdered in the US last year because of their sexuality, and 28 transgender people met the same fate.
In increasing numbers, they are fighting back by taking up arms.
It’s brought them into lock step with pro-gun groups that haven’t, historically, been all that welcoming of gay people.

Let us not reach for the low-hanging fruit of blaming the killer’s guns. Let us stay focused on the fact that someone hated gay people so much they were ready to kill or injure so many. A human being did this. The human being’s tools are unimportant when compared to the bleakness of that person’s soul.

Then again, because the decision-makers on the left operate from feelings, rather than principles, there’s nothing new there.
A gun doesn’t care if you’re a woman in a dark alley, a homosexual who fears abuse from a stranger with an ax to grind, someone who is wheelchair-bound, or an 80-year-old homeowner staring down a burglar.
Guns don’t discriminate. Which is why people on BOTH sides of this issue. If you’re facing a real threat, you should be able to defend yourself… whoever you are.
