Some crimes are just worse than others. Tweeting a bad racist joke is a firing offense, but sexually abusing a boy for 4 years and videotaping it — that can be forgiven.
Disney is in the spotlight in ‘This Week In Liberal Hypocrisy‘.
[Editor’s note: Have you noticed that everyone is laser-focused on the ‘Planet of the Apes’ part of the tweet and not the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ portion? The racist thing is horrible but her politics being compared to radical Islamists — eh, that’s not so bad.]
ABC had every right to fire Roseanne for her behavior, she’s been like this on Twitter before, and they probably had a clause in her contract indicating that they could fire her if she stepped out of line.
It’s the same reason that NFL owners have a right to demand how a person behaves when they are wearing the uniform.
Roseanne is the product — the show is her creation and bears her name.
It’s not a free speech issue because she’s not being jailed for it like Tommy Robinson has been for reporting on a Muslim pedophile grooming gang case in England.
But a tweet did cost her her job.
ABC was probably looking for any excuse to axe the show, and sadly, Roseanne gave them a real humdinger.
Roger Iger, CEO of ABC’s parent company, Disney, said that ditching Roseanne was the only thing that ABC could do and that it was ‘the right thing’.
From Channing Dungey, President of ABC Entertainment: "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show."
There was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.— Robert Iger (@RobertIger) May 29, 2018
Oh, Disney, with your high moral standards!
Look at all the great pillars of the community that you’ve churned out like — Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, and Shia LaBeouf.
Back in 1995, it seems that Disney was totes kewl with hiring Victor Salva to direct the movie, Powder. Salva is a convicted pedophile that molested 8-year old actor Nathan Forrest Winters for a period of 4 years beginning in 1998. Winters appeared in two of Salva’s films. As well, Salva had filmed one incident of the abuse.
For this heinous crime, Salva was convicted and sentenced to 3 years but spent a measly 15 months in prison.
Victor Salva molested a boy from age 8 to 12, who was acting in a film he directed, & videotaped it.
Served only 15 months in jail.
Despite the victim's public protests
Disney / ABC hired him to direct the film 'Powder'
But fires Roseanne within hours for a tweet. pic.twitter.com/5VhN9u38o0

He’s paid his debt to society, right?
He’s reformed, right?
Eh, not so much.
In his latest film, Jeepers Creepers 3, Salva quite creepily made reference to sexual abuse of a 13-year old girl and her stepfather.
If this excerpt from IGN's review of Jeepers Creepers 3 doesn't make your skin crawl, not sure what will. Victor Salva needs to be stopped. pic.twitter.com/wJjfk5kP3C

It’s now emerged that new film Jeepers Creepers 3 originally featured a scene hinting at the sexual abuse between a 13-year-old runaway, played by 21-year-old actress Gabrielle Haugh, and her stepfather through an exchange which sees one character sympathise with her molester.
“Can you blame the step-dad, though?” one character can be heard saying. “I mean, look at her. The heart wants what it wants, am I right?”

After the scene was flagged by critics in the advanced screenings, it was removed from the public release.
So, apparently, the guy that sexually abused a kid for 4 years, taped it, and then adds in that kind of pedo crap in his movies is just fine.
It’s a bit surprising that ABC is firing Roseanne for one tweet when they seem to have a penchant for racists and race-baiters.
The irony of Disney canning Roseanne while continuing to employ some of the industries biggest racist and race baiting frauds like Jemele Hill, Bomani Jones, Steve A Smith is not lost on most. Oh and at the same time hiring a scum of a human in Keith Olbermann.

Perhaps Roseanne is just not the ‘right’ kind of racist.
Or just maybe a little consistency is in order.

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
