Refusing to Be Taken in by Toxic, Leftist Nonsense

Hospital waiting rooms are boring places. Dated magazines and pre-set televisions help alleviate the tedium.
Serious faces glowed from a morning CBS news program. It captured my attention. And so I watched … not to have my brain illuminated by a far-left talk show, but to engage in a thinking exercise I call, “Detect the cultural Marxist BS.”
The topic was sexism and, “imagine my shock“, the scourge permeates all of America. The word was spoken multiple times. It was boldly displayed on the screen.
“Sexism” is one of many trigger terms utilized by the left. These “trigger terms” are off switches that attach themselves to our brains. When we hear a trigger word, critical thinking is automatically disengaged.
Sexism, as understood by the far left, is a vague and relative abstract; the meaning of which is manipulated to sell their brand of brain-washing detergent.
An expert on the topic was being interviewed by the CBS THIS MORNING team. The “expert” was a journalist from a left-leaning newspaper.
A color coded map was displayed revealing that California was among the least sexist states in the union. The most sexist states are in the South. Add family-friendly Utah to the sexist-states list.
Nay, I thought to myself. I refuse to absorb the refuse.
For example: I would contend that the continual abasement of the “1950’s housewife” constitutes both sexism and misogyny. I would contend that forcing women into the workplace — be it driving a garbage truck or working long hours at Walmart — is both sexism and misogyny.
I would contend that the Bubba-belt South is saturated in chivalry; the antithesis of sexism. Same for Utah. The CBS map has it exactly backwards.
The far left — and CBS News — apparently see it differently.
Women who choose to be homemakers are portrayed as oppressed, out of touch, and self-debasing kooks.
Could the opposite be true? Is it possible that women who choose to drive garbage trucks rather than raise families are oppressed, out of touch, and self-debasing kooks?
Perish the thought.
Again. When the word “sexism” is evoked, minds shut down. Think of it as a psychological bullet to the brain. Faith comes by hearing and hearing came from the CBS THIS MORNING.
Sorry. I’m not so easily duped by everything I hear and see. I prefer to engage my brain rather than permit talking heads on a New York City television set to herd my synaptic firings in directions to their liking.
Those who are attuned to the triggering mechanism will consider what is being said. They will also consider what is omitted: Missing from the topic of sexism was the abhorrent treatment of girls and women by Muslims. No mention of Britain’s grooming gangs. No mention of the invasion of our nation by Islam.
Following the CBS story on sexism was a human interest segment about a man who met his 40-year-old daughter for the first time, thanks to DNA research. Apparently the man had a physical relationship with a fellow high school student. That relationship produced a baby who was adopted.
The story was heartwarming. You may watch it here: ▼
During the age of the 1950’s housewife, such stories would have been scandalous. Having a baby out of wedlock was shameful. Times have changed. The Leave It to Beaver family is passé. The new normal is domestic Marxism in which the traditional family is synonymous with “sexism”.
Lessons learned? First, sexism is one of many trigger terms designed to maneuver our brainwaves to be concurrent with cultural and global Marxism. Second, that maneuvering is reinforced with a myriad of alternative family models. Any group can constitute a family.
The mind manipulation doesn’t work on those of us who are “woke”. When we hear the term “sexism” emanating from a far-left news source it triggers a much different thought. That thought is this: “Warning! Your mind is being exposed to toxic leftist nonsense.”
Watch the segment here with that thought in mind. See if you can detect the thought reform techniques.
