What circle of Dante’s Easy-Bake does THIS piece of trash deserve to rot in?
He was SUPPOSED to be a husband and a father. You know, Protector, provider, Hunter and Hero. He didn’t just FAIL in that role. It was much, much worse.

He betrayed the same sacred bonds husbands and fathers are supposed to risk their own lives defending.
And yet, he found a way to make it even worse. He made a pretense of appealing to the public for their safe return. To knowingly stand up and do so while their bodies are still warm is the kind of twisted that makes ‘evil’ awfully hard to dismiss as a meaningless term.
Shanann Watts, 34, and her daughters Bella, four, and Celeste, three were all killed by her husband Christopher in Frederick, Colorado.
Shanann, who was 15 weeks pregnant, went missing on Monday morning after returning from a business trip.
Her children had spent the weekend with their father.
On Wednesday night, after appearing on NBC’s Today show and giving interviews to other outlets, Christopher, 33, was arrested.
He was taken into custody but is yet to be charged. Family members say he confessed to the murders on Wednesday night after pretending for days not to know where his wife and kids were.
Here’s part of his public appeal:
She said she was going to a friend’s house with the kids and that’s the last thing I heard, and that was it. It was very vague,’ he said.
‘In my heart I believe that she is somewhere and I hope that she is safe.’
Elsewhere, he was not so sure.
‘Right now I don’t want to just throw anything out there. I hope that she’s somewhere safe right now and with the kids.
‘But could she have just taken off? I don’t know, but if somebody has her and they’re not safe, I want them back now.’
Turning to the camera, he made a direct plea to them, saying: ‘Shanann, Bella, Celeste, if you’re out there just come back. If somebody has her, just bring her back.
Suppose the evidence checks out and this guy is proven guilty. (We await the evidence. There is still the small matter of charges and a trial, after all.)
If so, he is exactly the sort of reason countries like ours can even HAVE provisions for a death penalty. It isn’t about scaring people into obeying the law. Many people know the consequences, and just don’t care.
It isn’t even because a murderer’s life is worth so little — but precisely because his victim’s lives are worth so very, very much.
