Broadway Actress ‘Jokes’ About Trump Assassination – Someone Call The Cops On This Old Bat

Celebrities seem to think it’s hilarious to joke about killing the President when he’s a Republican.

Do they not remember that an attempt was made on an actor who became President?

Well, he was a Republican, so that means it’s acceptable, I guess.

TMZ caught up with the legendary Broadway star, Carole Cook as she and her husband were leaving Craig’s in West Hollywood on Sunday night.

The TMZ photographer asked what her thoughts on a moment of political activism at the end of a Broadway performance of ‘Frozen’ last week. A member of the audience unfurled a ‘Trump 2020’ banner during the curtain call at the end of the show. One of the actors, Timothy Hughes, grabbed the banner and threw it offstage. The moment was captured on video, and Hughes posted it on Instagram along with his thoughts.

Hughes wrote:

What does it say about our country and politics when a man at the show tonight felt the need to protest Disney’s Frozen on Broadway with a pro Trump flag?? How frightening is it that our show’s messages of love, acceptance, and diversity have become the opposition to supporting Trump? The curtain call is a thank you between actors and audience, a final connection to end a shared experience. I will not apologize for how I responded to the disrespectful man trying to interrupt this moment with a pathetic political platform. Not at our show! Not in front of my beautiful, diverse, talented cast at @frozenbroadway. I appreciate everyone’s support. #resist #lovewins #lovetrumpshate

Cook’s response was shocking: she referenced the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln by an actor. Cook asked, ‘Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?’ implying that President Trump should also be killed.

This was clearly not the first time that Cook has expressed this sentiment. Her husband said ahead of her response, ‘Oh, this is good!‘ and he started to respond, ‘Where is…‘ until Cook shot him a look. She obviously wanted to be the one to deliver the zinger.

She was then asked by someone off-camera, ‘So, we need to kill President Trump?‘ Cook responded, ‘Why not? Now, will that get me in trouble?‘

Maybe she should ask Rosie O’Donnell, Madonna, or Johnny Depp about that.

Cook clearly thinks more drastic measures are required, and the most shocking part is that she clearly knew what she was going to say. Based on her husband’s reaction it’s something they’ve said before.

Check it out … her husband makes sure people know … Booth assassinated a president.

Cook didn’t stop there … she asked if her comment would put her on an Enemies List — referring to Richard Nixon’s famous document — and she clearly would wear that as a badge of honor.

These calls for the assassination of the President are neither witty nor amusing.

Just imagine the outrage if people said the same about a Democrat president. It seems all decency on the left is completely gone now that Donald J. Trump is President.
