Dain Bramage: Chelsea Clinton Says Returning To A Time Before Legalized Abortion Is ‘Unchristian’

Is she serious? Either she doesn’t understand what abortion is, or she doesn’t understand Christianity.

Chelsea Clinton has been very outspoken on abortion lately. She recently said at a ‘Rise Up For Roe’ event that legalizing abortion has added $3 Trillion to the economy.

Now that President Trump has appointed a second pro-life judge, Brett Kavanaugh, the issue of repealing Roe v. Wade, (a horrible legal decision which is considered by many to be a travesty of constitutional law,) is bringing all of the defenders of abortion out in the open to appeal their case.

Their case is that abortion is ‘healthcare’ and a Constitutionally protected right.

Admittedly, the abortion debate is always difficult. There are two sides — the bodily autonomy of the woman, and the life of the child. Those on the pro-choice side, seem to only see the woman in the equation to the exclusion of the child, and even deny that the fetus is a human being.

What is it then? A platypus? No, that’s ridiculous! If it is not a human life at conception, then at what point does it become a human life? Certainly, that happens before birth. Personally, I’d prefer to err on the side of caution there.

Abortion activists say that women need the right to an abortion because ‘thousands’ of women would die without legal access to abortion. Chelsea cites the same stats. The British Medical Journal remembers the late Dr. Bernard Nathanson, initially a leader in the pro-choice movement, and later a staunch opponent of abortion. Dr. Nathanson admitted repeatedly that the statistics that were used in the ‘morality’ of their movement were made up, and everyone knew it.

Back in the day, Hillary said that she wanted to find common ground with pro-life and pro-choice communities and make abortion ‘Safe, Legal, and Rare.’

Of course, she moved far away from that and was fighting for abortion on demand without apology, which is very different from the views of the vast majority of Americans, including those that self-identify as pro-choice.

So much for rare.

Taking a page from the early activism of Dr. Nathanson, Chelsea is using morality and adding in her own version of Christianity to push for abortion. If that wasn’t enough, she mentioned her children, specifically her daughter.

From the video:

I look at my children and I have to quote Jim Yong Kim, ‘optimism is a moral choice.’ Every day I make the moral choice to be optimistic. That my efforts and my energies, particularly when I’m fortunate enough to be in partnership with kinda fellow travelers, hopefully will make a difference.

And when I think about all of the statistics that are painful of what women are confronting today in our country, and what even more women confronted pre-Roe and how many women died and how many more women were maimed because of unsafe abortion practices, we just can’t go back to that. Like that’s unconscionable to me, and also, I’m sure that this will unleash another wave of hate in my direction, but as a deeply religious person, it’s also unchristian to me.

How delightful.

Chelsea’s ‘deep religious convictions’ allow for the murder of a child in the womb — even considering the right of her daughter to kill her her own children.

I must have missed that in my study of the Bible. What part of the Bible is that, Chelsea? First or Second Jezebel?

When Jesus said, ‘Suffer the little children to come unto Me,’ He clearly just meant the ones that survived to be born, right?

All of those passages in the Old and New Testament that discuss how God formed us in our mother’s womb, and how John leapt in the womb when Mary spoke to Elizabeth, that was all just referring to a ‘clump of cells’ with no inherent humanity, right?

Does Chelsea really ask herself, ‘Who Would Jesus Slaughter’?

It’s just fiendish.

As for the unsafe abortion practices, I guess Chelsea missed the story of Kermit Gosnell, just like everyone else in America. He was a prolific serial killer — not just of babies, but of the healthy women that went into his clinic seeking an abortion.

Don’t worry, many conservatives in Hollywood are working on fixing that ignorance about the monster that is Kermit Gosnell. A movie is being released on October 12 all about the investigation. Learn more about the Gosnell movie and watch the trailer here.

Guess what?

She was right about the backlash.

Roe v. Wade was made law by activists justices on an activist Supreme Court that wanted to legislate from the Bench.

We didn’t have the technology that we have now to see that a fetus in the womb isn’t just a ‘clump of cells.’

There are many ways to prevent pregnancy and some of them can be used simultaneously.

Is it still necessary to kill children in the womb as a form of retro-active birth control?

There’s still so much to say about abortion, but this last thing needs to be said.

The view that men and women are exactly the same with regard to sex is ridiculous. The feminist view that women can sleep around without consequence is anti-woman. It denies those differences. Abortion is just one way to keep women from dealing with the serious consequences of their actions, and acknowledging that they are indeed different from men. The callous way that feminists now encourage women to ‘Shout Your Abortion‘ shows just how cold we have become as a society.

But society doesn’t have to stay that way.

It’s going to take some righteous and rowdy girls to get us back on track.

I’m raising one, are you?

Raising Righteous & Rowdy Girls

In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
