Did The Left Scare Kanye Away From Trump? – Here’s The Fresh 411

Kanye West has said that he’s going to step away from politics for a while in order to focus on being creative. Here’s what you need to know.

Here at ClashDaily, we’ve always said that celebrities have a right to have their opinion on politics. It’s probably not a great idea to publicize that fact, however, because they’re bound to upset someone. And we’re not shy on criticizing celebs that come out for leftists. That’s what happens when you come out of the political closet, so to speak.

Frankly, it’s been kinda cool having a top-tier celebrity like Kanye West openly support President Trump’s policies and talk about him as a human being who is not ‘Literally Hitler.’ He seemed annoyed that people were constantly vilifying the President, a man that he has known for years. But, remember, Kanye said some nice things about Hillary, too. Frankly, he just seems like he’s part of the vast, non-political majority of folks that just want the divisive politics to stop. He’s not a political science major, and he’s not a Constitutional Law expert — he’s just a dude. A really rich and famous dude, but really, he just wants to live his life. And he has thoughts on issues, some of them are consistent with the MAGA agenda, and some of them are not.

The thing that conservatives love the most about Kanye wasn’t that he was signing on in agreement with every issue, but that he wanted people to think for themselves.

That was the single greatest thing that he said — you don’t need other people telling you how to think. Just because you’re black, it doesn’t mean that you must be a Democrat. You might decide to be a Republican or Independent, or maybe you actually agree with the Democratic policies. That’s up to the individual; not your family, society, Hollywood, or the Media (D) to decide.

The left is now jumping for joy because they think that their Prodigal Son has returned home thanks to a couple of tweets.

The Leftist Media (D) that demanded that every celebrity be vocal on their political views is now giddy that Kanye West seems to want to step away from politics.

Earlier this week, Kanye had been associated with the ‘Blexit’ movement that has been pushed by Turning Point USA Communications Director, Candace Owens. Blexit is a nod to the Brexit movement in Britain to leave the left-tilting European Union and focus on self-governance. Owens’ movement of Blexit takes that same imagery and uses it to signal the mass exodus of blacks from the Democratic Party.

Owens was thrust into the spotlight earlier this year courtesy of Kanye tweeting just seven words, ‘I love the way Candace Owens thinks.‘

Boom! Insta-fame for Owens and the MAGA-journey of Kanye began. He tweeted out quotes by Thomas Sowell, and he was vilified, and even called crazy, by the Leftists in Hollywood and the Media (D) for expressing himself and his dissatisfaction with leftwing policies.

For a man who literally makes his fortune on his name, he has to be protective of it.

Specifically, he was referring to the Blexit movement and the claim by Candace Owens that Kanye had a hand in creating the design of the logo.

If his name is associated with a movement that excludes half of the voting population would be difficult for his businesses.

It’s no wonder he’d want to distance himself from it.

Owens clarifies that Kanye isn’t involved in the Blexit movement.

#BLEXIT is about the beautiful stories of so many black people who have awakened themselves to the possibilities of our future, as Americans.

The press is trying to use Kanye’s name to create drama and further divisiveness which is WRONG.

TMZ published a story about Kanye’s move away from politics, and he reached out to them for further clarification:

4:15 PM PT — Kanye contacted us to make it clear he did not mention Donald Trump in his tweets, and he’s getting out of politics altogether.

As for being “used” … he says he was specifically referencing Blexit, and that’s it.

So, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo can giggle all they want about this, Kanye didn’t denounce President Trump.

That’s no surprise.

Kanye is always talking about love, unity, and positivity.

And really, that’s in line with the views of most Americans — the 70 percent that has been dubbed ‘The Exhausted Majority.’

They don’t want to join in the Left Vs. Right political dogfight.

And that’s ok. We don’t need everyone to be political savants, we need creative people, too.

Besides, it means that those of us that want to jump into the fray can do so, and, hopefully we can do it in a way that helps inform that Exhausted Majority.
