It’s a Media Catch-22. Do they ignore Trump’s tweet and let it stand uncontested or do they try to get their spin on it and bring attention to it?
Either way Trump wins and the Media(D) know it.
An honest media would have reported this story long ago… the ‘evolving’ position the Democrats as a whole have had on immigration is nothing short of breathtaking.
The entire party — that once opposed illegal immigration on the basis of it hurting job opportunities and wages of the working class just a decade or two ago — are now full-throated open-borders zealots.
And to oppose ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is now “proof” that you’re a racist.

We all agree on the need to better secure the border, and to punish employers who choose to hire illegal immigrants. We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States but those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those following the law. We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants in this country.
It almost sounds like Obama was saying that law-abiding immigration is good, and illegal immigration is bad.
What about Hillary?
Or Chuck Schumer in 2009?
Skip ahead to 1:44 and 3:07 to see how different his policies were not even a decade ago to what they’ve become since.
Or countless others of Democrats who have turned a complete 180 in the last decade or two?
If only there were some clue as to what could be driving this drastic change in policy? What new “moral high ground” have they found to stand on while they preach to the rest of us?
The Center for American Progress (CAP) Action Fund memo, which circulated Monday, called on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”
The memo from the left-leaning think tank also said that protecting DACA is not only a “moral imperative” but also a “critical component” in winning elections.
“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” the memo read.
It finished, “If Democrats don’t try to do everything in their power to defend Dreamers, that will jeopardize Democrats’ electoral chances in 2018 and beyond.”

None whatsoever. They’re just motivated by self-interest and power politics.
The American public has wised up to their game.
Even better, that trick of calling everyone and everything a racist bigot is getting pretty threadbare.
So if you think the old saw of calling everyone racist will translate into a blue wave… you’re in for some bad news.
The wave America will catch in November isn’t going to be Democrat blue.
