Now that their LAST ‘rising star’ said ‘she hit me first’, they’re shopping for a replacement. Is ‘Beto’ their guy?
Unlike many Democrats who’ve ‘paid their dues’, he’s not been along long enough to have flip-flopped on all the major policy issues like so many others have.
He’s also raised a crap-ton of money, and has gained national name recognition. (Just not as the Irish-sounding Robert or “Bobby” O’Rourke, of course.)
To be honest, those two details likely had more to do with the pissed-off Resistance faithful throwing everything they had against the Republican runner-up in the Primaries.

Is he the Real Dealâ„¢, or will he wind up as just another piece political road-kill on that Road To The White House like their LAST rising star did?
After all, there are plenty of people left in the Democrat Party who still think it’s THEIR turn. (Including the sore loser that hasn’t quite figured out she didn’t win in 2016.)
