Michael “I would take a bullet for Trump” Cohen has officially folded like a cheap tent.
The ass-kissing in his court appearance was a ridiculous display of badly-scripted melodrama.
He has pleaded guilty to crimes including campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress.
In a New York court on Wednesday Cohen lashed out at his former boss.
The 52-year-old told Judge William Pauley that Mr Trump caused him to “follow a path of darkness rather than light”.
He told the court his “weakness was a blind loyalty to Donald Trump” and that he “felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds”.
The sentencing was related to two separate cases brought by the Southern District of New York and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Judge William H. Pauley of SDNY also sentenced Cohen to 2 months for lying to Congress, to be served concurrently to his primary 36-month sentence.
He also issued an order for $500,000 in forfeiture, payment of $1.39 million in back taxes, and a $50,000 fine.
Judge Pauley also ordered an additional $50,000 fine, for lying to Congress.

His sentence begins in March. Why is that date important? Because that gives Mueller a three-month window during which to leverage him for his own cooperation in getting results he wants. (Results that many are saying is to ‘get’ Trump one way or another, whether it has anything whatsoever to do with ‘Collusion’ or not.)
What else is important? He’s ingratiating himself to the activist left. He’s had a Clinton lawyer (Lanny Davis) representing him, and who is now going to be his ‘advisor’.

Was it something they promised? Or something they threatened that got him to ‘flip’ on the man he would ‘take a bullet for’?
Or did it occur to him that his candy ass too delicate to do any hard time?
He thinks he has Trump painted into a corner, does he?
He wouldn’t be the first to make that miscalculation.
