8 Recent Reasons The “Manufactured” Border Crisis ISN’T Manufactured

Pelosi and Company were getting ready leave Dodge for a week in the middle of the Shutdown. Because she’s not interested in any solution that involves closing the border.

Together with other Democrats and the Media(D), she claims the crisis is somehow ‘manufactured’. She could NOT be more wrong. Here are some recent stories that prove just HOW wrong she is.

The Caravans Keep Coming

A new ‘Caravan’ just punched through the Mexican Border, en route to USA what the numbers will swell to by the time they arrive on the border is anybody’s guess.

Hundreds of mostly Honduran migrants entered southern Mexico on Friday, joining around 1,000 other people from Central America who crossed a day earlier and putting to the test Mexico’s vows to guarantee the safe and orderly flow of people.

…A migration official at the entry point, who asked not to be named because she was not authorized to speak to media, said that at least 1,000 people crossed from Guatemala into Mexico before dawn, without putting on wrist bands.

Asked why migrants did not receive wrist bands, David Leon, the director of civil protection, said authorities faced a caravan of hundreds of people early in the morning and let them pass rather than risk a confrontation.

As you read futher, you will see this isn’t the only one.

Rapists in the Crowd

Time reported that a nine-year-old girl in the group had already been raped and required medical attention. This aligns with the dangers we already know that attend to journeys like this one. When the President’s Oval Office address was ‘fact checked’ for raising the human rights concern that one-in-three women and girls are sexually abused during their attempts to illegally cross the border, it was because the President’s numbers were WAY Too low.

Organized by a Rapist

Trump gets grief for talking smack about bad actors on groups like this one. But that doesn’t make him wrong.

The suspect was identified as Juan Carlos Molina, who was supposedly one of the organizers of the exodus that left Monday from San Pedro Sula to the United States.

National Police told the news site Molina was under surveillance and arrested at a checkpoint for a pending 2015 arrest warrant for rape, based on a complaint from a protected witness.

Is he the only problem in the group? From the same story:

“The migrants were asked to show proper documentation in order to continue their journey, triggering a confrontation that involved throwing rocks and police responding with tear gas,” the news agency reports about the Tuesday clash.

NTD adds ANOTHER group has left, with the goal of entering the United States.

Cocaine Bust At Our Undefended Border

Border Patrol agents said they confiscated more than 700 lbs. of cocaine on Thursday just miles from the Rio Grande river.

I’m in the area with an appointment for a ride-along with border patrol agents, who say that this particular portion of the border is especially high in illegal crossing, including by drug smugglers, due to a lack of physical infrastructure to act as a barrier on the border.

Customs and Border Protection said the suspects were seen loading “bundles of narcotics” into an off-road-style utility vehicle outside of Garciasville, a city in Texas up against the river. The suspects, apparently aware they had been seen, were able to “abruptly” drive the vehicle into the river and escape into Mexico, CBP said.

They were able to get away, because, when authorities gave chase, there was no impediment between them and the border.

The confiscated drugs amounted to 705 lbs of cocaine valued at $22.5 Million. But the still more concerning aspect of the story is this:

“705 lbs. of cocaine, caltrops, evidence of sophisticated counter surveillance and a splashdown in one encounter are an obvious reminder of the need for more personnel, technology, and infrastructure in the Rio Grande Valley,” acting Chief Patrol Agent Raul Ortiz said in a statement. “Transnational Criminal Organizations continue to exploit areas along our western corridor that accounts for more than 90 percent of our traffic.” — Source: DailyWire

The Tunnels

The largest single group of migrants smuggled across our border yet was apprehended tunneling under the wall. More precisely, they came in and promptly turned themselves in to US authorities. One can only guess how many of these will claim to need ‘Asylum’, but smart money puts that number somewhere around 100%.

Democrats might point to this story as ‘proof’ that walls don’t work. That’s exactly wrong.

If there were no wall, they would need no tunnel. People would simply walk across en masse, show up in America, greet local authorities and take advantage of a defacto wet-foot-dry-foot amnesty policy on our Southern Border. (Funny how Obama canceled the Cuban policy known by the same name.)

Let me repeat that point: Without a wall, they wouldn’t NEED to tunnel. With more walls in more places, we wouldn’t have so many breaching the border, and our resources and personnel could be applied to intercepting people who shouldn’t be crossing, rather than caring for those who have already arrived. That includes turning resources to digging detection that are now tied up with processing groups like this one.

People Worldwide have begun using Mexican Border to gain access to America

Children and Families

Unlike illegal aliens of days gone by, the trend is no longer single men sneaking in, looking for work, and sending cash to people ‘back home’. Because of court rulings and legal changes we have people intentionally bringing children with them to increase their chances of gaming the system.

Even Obama called this problem a ‘crisis’.

In a nationally televised address from the White House, the president warned about an “actual humanitarian crisis on the border” prompted by a surge of migrants from Central America, and urged Congress to take action on his immigration agenda.

The year was 2014, and the president was Barack Obama.

…Like the current White House, the Obama administration struggled to find the right response to a dramatic increase in the number of migrants fleeing violence and poverty in Central America.

More than 60,000 unaccompanied children arrived at the southern border in 2014, most from the Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, putting the Obama administration in a difficult position.

Democrats and their Media Flunkies are painting the Trump administration into a no-win situation with respect to these children. If families enter America though a lawful port of entry, they can claim asylum, and go through the process normally. No laws have been broken, and we need not worry ourselves about the thorny problem of what to do with children and families.

If someone enters illegally, we have three options.

1) Detain the entire family together until we know whether or not they meet the criteria for asylum. (2) Detain the lawbreaking parents, and put the children in the care of somebody else until we know whether or not they meet the criteria for asylum. (3) Release both the children and guardians to live somewhere in America with the hope that the will actually show up for their immigration hearings three years or so into the future.

By law, children can only be held in detention for a certain number of days. Processing applicants within that ‘acceptable’ window is difficult. That issue is further complicated by the trend of human trafficking of children where the ‘guardian’ accompanying them is NOT a relative and could be condemning them to a life of sexual slavery.

2) Putting them into the care of someone else creates other problems. It triggers the ‘separating families’ objection, with all the complications that would raise.

3) Letting them go is the option the Left REALLY wants us to default to. Put that together with Sanctuary city policies, and it’s easy to see why the Right says calls it an open-borders policy.

Voter Disenfranchisement

There is a very real implication of this problem that goes far beyond the border issue itself, with two parts: Direct and indirect undermining of citizen voices with non-citizen votes.

Democrats are now openly saying they are ok with illegals voting.

A news story from today shows a Green card holder voted illegally three times. Ballot harvesting laws in some states can be exploited by non-citizens. And California has even extended certain voting rights to non-citizens.

The INDIRECT means of undercutting and diluting citizens’ franchise rights are more insidious.

1) Illegal aliens have been flooding into States that are tilting left.

2) A NY judge recently ruled that citizenship questions cannot be asked in the 2020 census.

3) Those census numbers (which now include Illegal Aliens) are used to rebalance the Electoral college numbers.

The impact is pretty significant, giving more weight to the ‘big’ states like California and NY, while reducing the voice of ‘Flyover’ States.

Here’s how the electoral map would look, based on 2013 Census estimates, and using 2016 election results, if only citizens were counted. […]

As we found at the time, “11 states would be impacted. The big loser would be California, which would see 4 of its 55 electoral votes trimmed away. No other state was impacted by more than one electoral vote. FL, NY and TX would lose one each, while seven states (LA, MO, MT, NC, OH, OK, VA) would gain one.” In terms of the 2016 election, Donald Trump would have won an additional four electoral votes, giving him a 310-228 victory, vs. the actual 306-232 result.* Read the rest of our piece on the topic here.

This is without even going through the different ways lives have been destroyed by those who have brought their crimes, their drugs or other problems with them into America through dishonest entry, or how they make it harder to admit people trying to enter the country for all the RIGHT reasons.

There may be issues on this list that we haven’t thought to include, which would only add to the total reasons why border security IS a growing crisis.

Who is it NOT a crisis for? Only two groups of people stand out.

1) Those people who wish to directly exploit an open border for illicit purposes…

2) Those people who wish to exploit an open border as a tool to ‘Fundamentally Transform’ America. And by now, we’ve all seen Democrat Palmieri’s memo stating that Democrat party futures absolutely depended on their border policy.

How much longer does this list need to get before Democrats realize they are on the wrong side of this issue?
