Cop Who Killed 2 Terrorists In Texas In 2015 Describes The Epic Gunfight

Listen to this Medal of Valor recipient talk about the shootout with two ISIS terrorists on American soil.

Greg Stevens is a retired police officer from the Garland police force. He worked mostly as a traffic cop. When a controversial free speech event was organized by Pamela Geller to hold a ‘Draw The Prophet Mohammed’ contest, the Garland P.D. provided some backup security for the event. Good thing, too. It was Stevens that neutralized the threat of two ISIS terrorists who were hellbent on doing harm to the organizers, participants, and anyone else that was in the area.

In 2016, Officer Greg Stevens was awarded the Medal of Valor by President Obama for his heroism.

Speaking to Skip Coryell of The Home Defense Show Podcast, Greg talks about how he and his Glock, with the help of God, took out two ISIS terrorists in a gunfight without a scratch.

He was assigned what was supposed to be an easy job, he was to cover an entrance on the west side of the complex that was only to be used by Geller, her security team, and her guest, controversial Dutch politician, Geert Wilders.

Stevens knew something was off when a car pulled up rather quickly and he was immediately on alert. He saw both passengers exit the vehicle and he saw that the driver was holding a rifle.

Check out the epic interview here:

Officer Stevens says that his training kicked in. In these kinds of situations, you don’t have time to stop and consider. The encounter lasted just 10 seconds.

PoliceOne.com posted an article about the key things that can be learned from this incident.

1. Situational awareness

2. Mental preparation

3. Aggressive counterattack

4. Closing the distance

5. Skill at arms

6. The value of training

Training is vital in everything, but especially when it comes to firearms.

Check out Officer Greg Stevens talk about the value of training:

Wow. That guy is seriously amazing!

This should be a must-hear for every patriot, as well as all those young tinkerpots out there that think they know everything. I think we can all learn something from Greg Stevens. America would be better off with more men like Mr. Stevens.
