‘Left Of Che Guevara’: Major Lib Dropkicks Occasional-Cortex And Her Vapid ‘Green New Deal’

Yikes! AOC is too far left for this self-avowed liberal who writes for the New York Times.

The New York Times doesn’t bother to hide their bias. They hired a blatant racist, Sara Jeong, because she fit the diversity requirement. They also published an anti-Trump cartoon that showed Trump and Putin french kissing. And that’s not even touching the bias in the news stories which was called out by a former editor earlier this year.

You know the left is getting pretty extreme when David Brooks of the New York Times says that her policies are pushing Democrats to the ‘left of Che Guevara‘.

On PBS Newshour, Brooks was asked by host Judy Woodruff about the direction that Democrat presidential candidates are now taking the party. Brooks mentioned Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s dumpster fire ‘Green New Deal’ and lambasted ‘She’ Guevara‘s idea as ridiculous.

It. Was. Beautiful.

WOODRUFF: Where do you see the Democratic field sort of shaking out in that way? And does it — I mean, is it shaking in a direction that helps the party, or not?

BROOKS: It’s somewhere to the left of Che Guevara, I guess. As Donald Trump makes it extremely hard to think about supporting somebody like that, I find the Democrats have done an outstanding job of making it hard for a lot of moderates to support anything. Personally, the idea that I could ever support a candidate who was in support of the Green New Deal, that will never happen. That could never happen. The Green New Deal concentrates power in the hands of the Washington elite in a way nothing has done since World War II. It would literally have Washington planners taking over the energy business, taking over the transportation business, so no planes are possible — or necessary, taking over health care. It really is a centralization of power in a way we haven’t seen and doesn’t exist in Scandinavia. It used to be Democrats wanted to shift the tax code, shift the regulations, in order to steer the market in a more humane direction, and I get that. And that — being that kind of Democrat, you would be for a carbon tax in order to address global warming. This is not that. This is simply the government taking control of large swaths of the American economy, something I don’t think the government is capable of doing.

Watch the exchange:

Did David Brooks just make sense?

Welp, it appears I just lost a bet.

Even David Brooks can see the sham that is the Green New Deal. He even hits the nail on the head with the governmental takeover of large swaths of the American economy.

Even though virtually all of the Democratic presidential hopefuls have lauded the ‘vision’ of the Green New Deal, it’s utter cow flop — which would be highly sought after as a fuel source in a post-bovine America.

Just one more reason that conservatives need to ‘pounce’ every time AOC opens her mouth and says something stupid, which is pretty much daily, apparently.
