If Your Church Doesn’t Have Masculine Men, In The Pulpit And The Pew, It’s Because…

We’ve seen this flick play out before — in the Old Testament. And there are a few important takeaways for the present generation.

Have you ever thought of missing masculinity in your church to be a divine red flag? Looking back over scripture, there’s a really good reason we should. Historically, when the people of God lacked leadership of a masculine persuasion, God was setting them up for some serious divine sanction.

I break down what exactly those divine sanctions look like in this bite-sized three-minute #Dougcast:

Does any of that sound a little TOO familiar?

If it’s happening to your church, you’ve got three choices: do nothing, and let it slide into ruin, get out of Dodge and find one that isn’t, or get to work in prayer and practice correcting the course and start salvaging the one you’re in — that last one is especially important if you happen to be the guy in the pulpit.

In a culture like ours where so many lemmings trust the ‘experts’ to know what they’re doing, the Church is supposed to be the opposite. Leadership and clergy’s job is to give the average Sunday attendee the tools he or she needs to step out those doors on Sunday morning and become a serious threat to Satan’s Crumbling Kingdom.

Every believer is a minister. It’s in the book. Doug and Rich take on that juicy truth in this week’s video/podcast: Question: Are You Following God’s Call Or Your Goofy Flesh?

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
