Ukraine Cranks Up Investigation Over A Helping Hillary Scheme In 2016

The plot thickens by involving Paul Manifort. When all is said and done, Hillary might need to write an update to “What Happened?”

Some ‘helping friends’ in Ukraine just got busted trying to shift 2016 US elections in her favor.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko told Hill.TV’s John Solomon in an interview aired on Wednesday that he has opened a probe into alleged attempts by Ukrainians to interfere in the United States’ 2016 presidential election.

…Lutsenko is probing a claim from a member of the Ukrainian parliament that the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Artem Sytnyk, attempted to the benefit of the 2016 U.S. presidential election on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

…“According to the member of parliament of Ukraine, he got the court decision that the NABU official conducted an illegal intrusion into the American election campaign,” Lutsenko said.

“It means that we think Mr. Sytnyk, the NABU director, officially talked about criminal investigation with Mr. [Paul] Manafort, and at the same time, Mr. Sytnyk stressed that in such a way, he wanted to assist the campaign of Ms. Clinton,” he continued.

Solomon asked Lutsenko about reports that a member of Ukraine’s parliament obtained a tape of the current head of the NABU saying that he was attempting to help Clinton win the 2016 presidential election, as well as connections that helped release the black-ledger files that exposed Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s wrongdoing in Ukraine.

What other sorts of problems has Sytnyk been in hot water for? Stop me if any of this sounds familiar… (from a piece written last September):

It is also the latest event in a scandal involving corruption in the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, wiretapping, internal conflict among Ukraine’s authorities, and weak enforcement of the law.

…Correct or not, it was not an unreasonable claim. Earlier this year, NABU had indeed planted a bug in an aquarium in Kholodnytsky’s office and used it to uncover evidence of him conspiring to help Ukrainian officials escape corruption charges.

After discovering the second bug, Kholodnytsky informed Ukrainska Pravda that his employees discovered “suspicious people” near the office. They claimed to work for one of Ukraine’s major telecom operators and said they were laying a cable leading to the garage, but otherwise declined to identify themselves.

If ‘Russian Collusion’ was a ‘bad thing’ that required a serious criminal investigation, wouldn’t Ukranian collusion be an equally ‘bad thing’?

Bonus question: Will the revelation of this pro-Hillary political inolvement have any impact on the Manafort conviction?

Suddenly, THIS is an awfully awkward headline: Cohen’s Lawyer Isn’t Just Close With The Clintons — He’s A Registered Foreign Agent For A Pro-Putin Oligarch

It was hardly a state secret, either. Even Politico was talking about it during Obama’s final few weeks in office: “Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire — Kiev officials are scrambling to make amends with the president-elect after quietly working to boost Clinton.”

BREAKING: Podesta’s Ties to Putin REVEALED – Please SHARE With CNN

Dear CNN: Obama’s FBI Hid Hillary’s ‘Russia Connection’ — Is THAT News?

Were THESE collusion stories looked into by Mueller? Or are people like Dan Bongino right in their claim that Mueller’s main job is to point fingers at Trump long enough to deflect attention from where it really belongs — in the Clinton orbit?

If we’ve left no stone unturned concerning Russia — it’s time we really look into what Hillary’s allies (foreign AND domestic) have been up to in ‘influencing’ our election, and how far they were willing to go to seize power at any cost to the functioning of our democratic process.

That ‘smooth transiton of power’ speech hasn’t aged any better than the haggard chick who croaked it, has it?
