Hey NeverTrumpkins: When’s The Last Time You Heard A President Make A Case For Prayer Like THIS?

After expressing concern for those in the path of a Cat 5 hurricane, and calling for prayer, the president had THIS response for his critics.

The Bahamas are taking a beating from Dorian, now that it’s whipped itself up into a Cat 5 storm.

And President Trump — who has been using much of the energy on his Twitter account to push hurricane readiness and response information, took a moment to remember those in the center of the storm.

It was a simple message. Nothing about it would be objectionable to anyone not already looking for a reason to be offended. Here it is.

Critics found all kinds of ways to deride him for it, that included whining about his use of the word ‘prayer’.

Did they pounce on Obama when he still thought it was acceptable to offer ‘thoughts and prayers’?

Thoughts and prayers were ‘not enough’ shows up in Obama’s timeline in December of 2012. He kept using the phrase for words of comfort…

…(for example), until 2015, when he famously announced ‘Thoughts and prayers are not enough.’

From that point forward, that phrase became almost an article of faith for the Left.

And those who hold such prayer in contempt railed at him in the predictable ways. How did he respond? Did he ignore the critics? Did he ‘punch back’? Or did he put HIS words in a correct historical context that his critics — some had been obviously deprived of a decent public education in favor of left-leaning secular indoctrination — were clearly unaware of?

The following two tweets — some six hours later — gave prayer it’s proper historical context. Some were even probably reading these words for the very first time.

If you’re wondering how wide the divide between two parties are with the approach of 2020, this is a glimpse of it.

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
