It was on September 11 1683 that the conquering armies of Islam were met, held, and thrown back at the gates of Vienna. The Ottoman empire never recovered from the defeat and, one could say that it stayed in their collective minds for centuries. In the Islamic world, and especially among the extremists, it is remembered as a humiliation in itself and a prelude to later ones. The forces of the Islamic Jihad in Gaza once published a statement saying that they could not be satisfied until all of Spanish Andalusia had been restored to the faithful as well.
9/11 marked the latest round in a war for global supremacy between two competing civilizations.
Somali-born author and activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali explains: “Is Islam a religion of peace? Is it compatible with Western liberalism? At 22 while my family was living in Kenya, my father arranged my marriage to a member of our family clan, a man that I had never met. I ran away, made my way to Holland, studied there and eventually was elected a member of the Dutch parliament. Now I live in the United States. In short, I have seen Islam from the inside and the outside. If the jihadists win and the hope for a reformed Islam dies, the rest of the world will pay a terrible price. The terror attacks in New York, London, Madrid, Paris and many other places are only a preview for what is to come. For more than a decade, my message has been simple: Islam is not a religion of peace. The call to violence and the justification for it are explicitly stated in the sacred texts of Islam.”
The American government has waffled, for many years, over what Saudi Arabia actually is. Are they friend, or foe, or a combination of both? In my not-so-humble opinion, they are a deceitful bunch, taking our money and friendship with one hand, and delivering that money, through carefully constructed avenues, to known terrorist groups. In my book, you are either with us, or you’re against us, and I think they are against us, now and forever. Countries, such as Saudi Arabia, where Islam is the dominant force, will never fully “convert” to Western civilization. In our modern world, they still hold to stoning a woman to death, beheading people(and children) who leave Islam for some other faith. This is not the way of civilized countries, at least none that come to mind. We, through our governments, have continued to turn a blind eye to what goes on in countries like Saudi Arabia because, for whatever skewed reasoning tells us, they’re friends.
I don’t believe they are.
Three hundred and thirty-four years ago, troops led by renowned Polish King Jan III Sobieski defeated the Ottoman Empire army commanded by Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa in the Battle of Vienna, thus defending Europe and Christianity against an Islamic deluge. The Islamists have never forgotten this, and whether you wish to believe it or not, the date of 9-11 is going to show up again…somewhere, and it will be spectacular in its horror, as was the downing of the Twin Towers in New York City.
Even as this is being written, I believe a plot is being put together for an anniversary event. The New York attack was, as I understand it, planned for over a year and any official that tells you that another one couldn’t happen is just whistling in the dark.
It shouldn’t come as any surprise to my readers, that the CULT of Islam gets attention more often than anything else. If they didn’t continue to do horrible things, in the name of that CULT, we wouldn’t pay them any mind. You might ask yourselves, “How does anything come down through 1400 years and retain the morals and ethics of a pedophile warlord, without changing with the times?” To be sure, they have embraced the modern world when it suits them to do so. They will use any sort of modern weapon, whether it be airplanes, smartphones or social media, to get their message across. If stealth jihad does not work, and it IS working in our schools and universities, they have no problem going to violence. No other faith that I know of preaches such hatred of their fellow men, as does the Qu’ran of Islam…and you have to get an unadulterated copy of that to read the truth of it.
As I understand Islam, through the books that I’ve read, the word came down from above, into the mind of Mohammed. He was, self-proclaimed the Messenger, and he wrote down the thoughts that he “heard” from Allah. Now, truth be told, there are many other religious leaders that have claimed to be able to talk with their God. The difference, I believe, is that Mohammed wrote down things that HE liked to do, and would have liked to do. So, we have the Qu’ran, filled with contradictions, and odd thoughts, almost none of which are compatible with the modern, or Western world. Islam remains as it was in the 600’s, entirely driven by hatred, always threatening violence, killing those who might stray from the fold…in other words, the antithesis of modernity.
Parting shot: If America, and the rest of the civilized world is to survive, we must in my not-so-humble opinion, defeat Islam once and for all.
