FAIL: AOC Calls Trump Antisemitic… That Was A Mistake

Written by Wes Walker on October 5, 2019

Are you SURE you want us to go down this road Occasional-Cortex? OK then. But don’t say we didn’t warn ya!

Poor AOC. She’s become ‘bored’ of the Impeachment circus that she played a key role in kicking off.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) told a constituent town hall Thursday night she doesn’t want to spend a lot of time talking about impeaching President Trump because she’s so over it by now — it’s an “open and shut” case.

“So feel what you need to feel” about impeachment, AOC told the gathering. “I’m going to move on, because frankly I think the whole thing’s boring. He should have been impeached a long time ago. I’m over it. So that’s how I feel about it, because we’ve got work to do.

…Because the impeachment of this president is the short-term action that we need to take to preserve our democracy. But if we are really going to thrive as a country, we need to make long-term investments and keep our eyes on the prize of social, economic and racial justice in the United States of America, and that’s really what this is about.

She’s reminiscent of a ‘mean girl’ from high school that starts a rumor to destroy a classmate, gets bored with it and moves on to her next misadventure.

Now she’s moved on to call Trump *checks notes* an antisemite.

No, really. She’s serious.

Trump’s criticism of Shifty ‘4 Pinnochios‘ Schiff is entirely due to Trump’s particular animosity toward Jews???

Where to begin? How stupid her accusation against Trump is, or how badly this is going to boomerang against her OWN chequered relationship with antisemites?

Rubin (who has relatives on both sides of his family lost to the Nazi death camps) wasn’t buying it for a second.

It seems a strange thing to say about someone who pissed off antisemites for being ‘too’ Pro-Israel, for moving the embassy to Jerusalem, for being close friends with Netanyahu, for making Israel a stop on his first trip as President, and being the first sitting President to visit the Western (or Wailing) Wall.

His daughter converted to Judaism, and his son-in-law is one of his closest advisors.

The verdict is in… obviously he ‘has it in for Jews’.

She should have applied that old-school Eric Clapton wisdom… ‘before you accuse me, take a look at yourself’.

Since SHE didn’t… WE will.

Let’s start with who she’s quoting, shall we?

What, did she not have any Farrakhan quotes she could reference?

She’s part of ‘the Squad’ with has on any NUMBER of occasions been called out for explicit antisemitism.

And when it came time to call it out in her own party? AOC went to war with her party leader… and succeeded in getting the denunciation of antisemitism watered down to a generic denunciation of ‘hate’.

Or did she think we had already forgotten about this: Raucous Caucus: Pelosi Storms Out Of Closed-Door Meeting Over Omar’s Anti-Semitism

She and her squad support — and are pushing to pass — a policy that Pelosi stood in front of a Jewish audience this March and denounced as ‘antisemitic’.

Wouldn’t it be a damned shame if she kept bringing the topic of antisemitism into the national conversation?

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
