Ask yourself, could Obama ever have brought himself to deliver a speech like this one? He was so PC he was careful to send out ‘holiday’ cards.
The ‘apostate’ President is pretty much summarizing Luke chapter two, and every Christmas pageant ever performed.
“In 1923 President Calvin Coolidge lit the first National Christmas Tree. Later that night, African-American community centers held an outdoor worship service one these grounds, and during that service, the Washington Monument was illuminated with a beautiful cross, a powerful reminder of the meaning of Christmas.
More than 2000 years ago, a brilliant star shone in the East. Wise men traveled far, far afield, I mean they were a long distance away and they came and they stood with us under the star where they found the Holy Family in Bethlehem. As the Bible tells us, when they came into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother and fell down and worshipped him.
Christians give thanks that the son of God came into the world to save humanity. Jesus Christ inspires us to love one another with hearts full of generosity and grace.
He went on to mention some other people and in closing he resumed his talking about the Christian message at the heart of Christmas.
“At Christmas we remember this eternal Truth, every person is a beloved child of God. As one grateful nation we praise the joy of family, the blessings of freedom, and the Miracle of Christmas.
On behalf of Melania and her entire family, Merry Christmas, and God bless you all. Thank you very much. Merry Christmas everybody.
Even Linus couldn’t have said it much better than that:
Ever notice how the ‘good and decent’ 44th President who assured us he was a Christian could scarcely find one nice thing to say about Christians, their faith or their traditions.
And yet the billionaire ‘no-good apostate’ that came after him can’t stop talking about God, his Son, and the prominent role that faith plays in everyday American life.
And yet some people STILL scratch their heads wondering why Christians have thrown their support behind Trump.
They’ll probably still be wondering about it through his second term.
So, what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:
“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.
Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
