BOMBSHELL: Ilhan Omar Appears To Be Under Investigation By An Alphabet Soup Of Federal Agencies — Including ICE

Things aren’t looking good for this member of “The Squad.”

Investigative journalist, David Steinberg, who has been doing the heavy lifting digging into Rep. Ilhan Omar(D-MN)’s record and history dropped the big news in an article in The Blaze.

Here’s a little background…

In October, Steinberg posted a thread on Twitter saying that he has given unpublished information that he has gathered on Omar to the FBI, which has launched an investigation.

If a federal investigation is opened based upon this meeting, I believe the never-published information I shared should quickly lead the FBI to conclusive evidence that @IlhanMN committed numerous felonies between 2009-2017.

Steinberg says that Minnesota State Rep. Steve Drazkowski(R) had previously filed a complaint with Minnesota District of the Department of Justice stating that it appeared that Omar had committed multiple felonies between 2009-2017. The Minnesota DoJ — headed by U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald, who was appointed by President Trump in 2018 –directed the FBI to investigate the matter.

It appears that the investigation has to do with what she calls the “private” matter of her marriage history, specifically relating to her second marriage in 2009.

The Department of Justice has assigned an FBI Special Agent In Charge (SAC) to investigate why Ilhan Omar, who came to the United States as a 12-year old refugee in 1995, sponsored a British national in 2009. At the time, Ilhan Omar was 26 years old and had been a U.S. citizen for 9 years. The British national was her second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who appears to be her brother.

The “private matter” that Omar refuses to speak about to journalists seems to be at the heart of the investigation, specifically her second marriage to Elmi.

Steinberg then states that evidence points to a “wide range of criminal activity” which could involve other federal agencies.

In October, the FBI SAC stated that the wide range of criminal activity suggested by the evidence against Rep. Omar may lead the FBI to expand the review to other federal departments. In such situations, the SAC continued, the FBI often acts as a hub — sharing evidence, or coordinating a joint investigation, with several other investigative agencies.

Indeed, this has since occurred.

1. Department of Education Inspector General

The involvement of the DoE stems from evidence that appears to show that Omar attempted to commit federal student loan fraud or other fraud involving higher education. In 2009, Omar married Elmi, moved to North Dakota to attend university, Elmi enrolled the next year. All the while, Omar and Elmi were living with Omar’s first husband and her two children that she had with him. Omar’s marriage to Elmi lasted only as long as she was enrolled in college.

Shortly after Omar’s 2009 marriage, the new couple moved to Fargo, North Dakota. Omar enrolled at North Dakota State University in August 2009. Her husband enrolled the following year.

Omar received a degree in June 2011. According to Omar herself, she and her husband then permanently separated in June 2011. The marriage’s start and end coincide with the start and end dates of Omar’s NDSU enrollment.

Incredibly — according to address records, and a statement from Omar herself — she was also still living with her first husband, and their two kids, throughout this second marriage.

In 2017, Omar unilaterally filed for divorce from her estranged second husband claiming that she had lost all contact with him in 2011. She submitted a form under penalty of perjury. It appears that she may have perjured herself eight times in the nine question document.

2. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

The evidence points to Omar abusing immigration law to bring her brother to the United States for school while claiming he was her husband. Under current immigration law, it is much easier to sponsor a spouse than a sibling.

The answers to those questions about 2009 appear to give probable cause to investigate Omar for eight instances of perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, up to eight years of state and federal tax fraud, two years of federal student loan fraud, and even bigamy.

To be clear: The facts describe perhaps the most extensive spree of illegal misconduct committed by a House member in American history.

This is incredibly inconvenient for Omar who has been very publicly condemning ICE along with her fellow “Squad” members.

For several years, Omar has vigorously supported the abolishmentof ICE. Her 2020 re-election platform — featured on her campaign site, and pictured below — targets ICE agents with vicious rhetoric that simply must be read by interested parties.

States Omar’s site: “Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is an unreformable organization that has become increasingly militarized, brutal, and unaccountable.”

Here at ClashDaily, we’ve thought that Omar was sketchy as hell for a long, long time. That’s not because of her skin color, her turban, her religion, that she came to the U.S. as a refugee, that she’s from Somalia, is a homewrecker, or because she’s a woman, it’s because of what the Media(D) seems to skate over in their coverage.

There were red flags raised when Omar was a Minnesota state representative where she was found to have violated Minnesota’s campaign finance rules and it was largely ignored by the Media(D) likely because she is Muslim, an avowed leftist, and a hijab-wearing woman with a (D) after her name. Instead, the Partisan Presstitutes chose to stand by her and downplay her atrocious character by elevating her intersectional street cred.

With the FBI investigating Congresswoman Omar tying in the DoE and ICE, the Media(D) won’t be able to ignore it for long.
