WATCH: Nancy Pelosi Blatantly LIED On CNN Saying Her House Bill Was Only Concerned With COVID-19
The Democrat House bill was filled with unrelated leftist policy spending and had zero things to do with coronavirus.
Last week, the Senate had worked hard and came up with a stimulus bill to provide immediate assistance to Americans who have not been to work due to government-imposed quarantine, and the businesses that were suffering and laying off workers. It looked like it was going to pass without too much opposition — even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer(D-NY) had praised the bill as late as Saturday saying that he was surprised at the bipartisanship of it.
And then… Speaker Nancy Pelosi(D-CA) swooped in and said that the $2 trillion spending package didn’t have enough leftist goodies in it.
To her credit, CNN’s political correspondent, Dana Bash pushes back and asks about some of the pork like the environmental nonsense in the bill. How does having airlines report the carbon footprint of each flight have anything to do with COVID-19? According to Speaker Pelosi, it’s a matter of “shared value” for what happens to the environment.
And she wanted unanimous consent on this B.S.

Really, Nancy? She’s lying through her false teeth.
The provisions included:
- emission standards for airlines
- millions of dollars for unrelated agencies like NOAA
- funding for the JFK Center for the Performing Arts
- increase in funding for the IRS
- creation of a new government oversight committee
- etc., etc.

But, of course, the spending bill had to include some goodies for their pet causes, right?
Who can forget that one of the favorite causes is the one that kills babies?
Steve Dennis, a Bloomberg reporter, tweeted that his sources say that as negotiations continued on the new stimulus package, one sticking point was that Democrats were insisting on allowing Planned Parenthood to secure aide as a “small business.”

So, when Democrats tell you that we need this “vital aid” to “save just one life” remind them that it included funding for abortion providers, so spare me.

The new bill passed early this morning, but I sincerely hope that she didn’t get a damned thing that she wanted. It was a disgusting political play on her part, and I hope that every single Democrat that was on-board with her holding the American people hostage like this is hurt in the next election.
It’s time for Nancy to get out of politics for good. She’s toxic.
