This is the sort of mental ‘slip’ that makes the idea of him sitting behind the Resolute Desk such a nightmare scenario for his critics.
Joe was basking in the glow of a SuperTuesday in which his hopes of winning the nomination came back from the dead, where he emerged as the defacto establishment pick.
In the thrill of the moment, he introduced the women who had joined him at the podium. His sister on one side, his wife on the other.
What could *possibly* go wrong here, you might ask.
That would be vastly underestimating the power of Biden to crank up his ‘gaffe machine’.

He mixed up which one was his wife and which was his sister. Sorry Joe, ‘sister wives’ are something different. (There’s also an Ilhan Omar joke in there somewhere.)
What this really comes down to is Joe’s inattentiveness to his surroundings. He wants a job where situational confusion could lead to an international incident with another world power.
Yeah… no thanks.
The sooner he can go home to his wife — or is it sister? — and take the stress he is so obviously unsuited for off his shoulders, the better of he and his family will be.
