Hey Twitter: If Election Fraud Isn’t Real, Please Explain These Arrests

Serious Media™ types assure us that election fraud is just a trojan horse trotted out by conservatives in some Machiavellian plot to disenfranchise minority voters. Well facts are stubborn things.

On the same day that Twitter is ‘fact-checking’ a Presidential tweet about mail-in-ballot election fraud, the DOJ is pressing charges against someone involved in …

*checks notes*

…you guessed it! Election fraud!

Which is weird, because the same folks who tell us constantly that Russia rigged our elections ALSO swear to us that our elections are tamper-proof and cannot possibly be vulnerable to fraud.

Don’t expect it to make sense. It was just a talking point after all. We’re not expected to weigh the claim on its merits.

Twitter relied on the Democrat Media Complex’s so-called “fact-checkers” to say that election fraud isn’t a concern with absentee voting, also referred to as mail-in voting. What’s ironic is the added the fact check on the very same day the Department of Justice pressed charges against a mail carrier for none other than attempted voter fraud.

Pendleton County West Virginia mail carrier Thomas Cooper is accused of altering the mail-in absentee request forms for eight voters. According to the DOJ, the voters’ party preference was altered. Five ballots had been altered from “Democrat” to “Republican.” The other three request forms were altered but the party preference was left untouched.

When the clerk discovered the alterations, a report was filed with the West Virginia Secretary of State’s office. An investigation into tampered request forms from the towns of Onego, Riverton, and Franklin, West Virginia – the very area Cooper serviced – was launched.

An affidavit stated that the 47-year-old admitted to changing the request forms, something he considered to be a “joke.” —TownHall

That mail-in ballot was not so ‘tamper-proof’ after all, was it?

In fact, the more hands your ballot passes through, the more opportunity there is for error or mischief. Whereas, if you’re personally standing in a ballot booth, at least you know your vote made it into the counting.

That’s just one example. An outlier, right?

Do you really think so?

A former judge of elections and Democratic committeeperson from South Philadelphia has pleaded guilty to accepting thousands of dollars in bribes to inflate the vote totals for three Democratic candidates for Common Pleas Court judge in 2015, and for other Democratic candidates for office in 2014 and 2016, U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain announced Thursday.

Domenick J. DeMuro, 73, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for the judicial candidates and for other candidates seeking office in the 2014 and 2016 primary elections. And he admitted violating the Travel Act, which forbids the use of a cell phone to promote illegal activity, McSwain’s office said. — Inquirer

Even more insulting is how very cheaply this bum sold out our Democratic processes. What was his own integrity — and that of our democratic process — worth to this Democratic committeeperson?

DeMuro, who could not be reached for comment, was paid between $300 and $5,000 for each election, the office said.

“Our election system relies on the honesty and the integrity of its election officials. If they are corrupt, the system is corrupt, which creates opportunities for election fraud and for the counting of fake votes,” McSwain said in a video-recorded statement sent to news outlets.

“DeMuro fraudulently stuffed the ballot box by literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear. This is utterly reprehensible conduct. The charges announced today do not erase what he did, but they do ensure that he is held to account for those actions,” McSwain added. — Inquirer

But he’s probably the only one right? There’s nothing to see when Democrats are fighting to keep their voter lists from being purged, or people fight NOT to use voter ID. They’re really only interested in making legitimate voting as easy as they can… right?

There is a reason the Left has been pounding a narrative about voter suppression. If there’s one thing we ought to have learned by now… these ‘outrages’ are almost always a head-fake. It’s never about what the Republicans are doing, or might be doing. It’s about what they don’t want us to notice the Democrats doing.

If Democrats are taking such particular interest in the ‘voter suppression’ narrative, we must be particularly alert to any attempts to disenfranchise the lawful votes of citizens with dirty tricks to inflate the numbers for their own candidates.

While we’re at it… Republicans would be wise to be sure we have volunteers, or ‘scrutineers’, at every polling location observing that all the rules are properly followed.
