It’s Classified: Former Dem Presidential Candidate Won’t Say If He Boinked Chinese Spy

It’s not just Dianne Feinstein’s chauffeur that gave China inroads into the Democrat Party. Chinese spies have made great progress in penetrating American interests.

One Chinese spy, in particular, had significant Democrat connections, including 2 Democrat Presidential hopefuls for whom she served at different points in their careers as a Democrat bundler.

Ms Fang is known to have had sex with two un-named midwestern mayors. Her connections raising funds for some West-Coast Dems are well-known, including Eric Swalwell.

As for the question as to whether Eric has his own ‘Spy Who Shagged Me’ story, he says he can’t answer that. You’re gonna love his reason.

Politico reported that Swalwell refused to answer questions on his relationship with Fang, but did say that he was not concerned that the controversy would jeopardize his seat on the House Intelligence Committee.

‘As the story referenced, this goes back to the beginning of the last decade, and it’s something that congressional leadership knew about it.’

Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night said his team had asked Swalwell’s office whether the reports of a sexual relationship with Christine Fang were true, but his office declined to comment, citing national security. –DailyMail

We’re not exactly sure how saying ‘I didn’t sleep with her’ would be ‘classified’ information. A man who trades in as much conjecture and slander as Eric has in the last 4 years should certainly understand what inferences this would leave open.

But all of this is part of a larger story reminding us how China has long since been looking for ways to eat our lunch… like a certain Presidential candidate in 2015 had been warning us from day one.

A suspected Chinese intelligence operative developed extensive ties with local and national politicians, including a U.S. congressman, in what U.S. officials believe was a political intelligence operation run by China’s main civilian spy agency between 2011 and 2015, Axios found in a yearlong investigation.

…While this suspected operative’s activities appear to have ended during the Obama administration, concerns about Beijing’s influence operations have spanned President Trump’s time in office and will continue to be a core focus for U.S. counterintelligence during the Biden administration.

…The woman at the center of the operation, a Chinese national named Fang Fang or Christine Fang, targeted up-and-coming local politicians in the Bay Area and across the country who had the potential to make it big on the national stage.

Through campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships with at least two Midwestern mayors, Fang was able to gain proximity to political power, according to current and former U.S. intelligence officials and one former elected official.
Even though U.S. officials do not believe Fang received or passed on classified information, the case “was a big deal, because there were some really, really sensitive people that were caught up” in the intelligence network, a current senior U.S. intelligence official said.
Private but unclassified information about government officials — such as their habits, preferences, schedules, social networks, and even rumors about them — is a form of political intelligence. Collecting such information is a key part of what foreign intelligence agencies do.
Among the most significant targets of Fang’s efforts was Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.).

Fang took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative and a current U.S. intelligence official. Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities on its behalf, the political operative said. That same political operative, who witnessed Fang fundraising on Swalwell’s behalf, found no evidence of illegal contributions. –Axios

She was involved in the placement of at least one of Swalwell’s interns.

Considering Swalwell’s endless bleating about Trump being compromised by Russian influence, news of this infiltration is pretty rich. The hypocrisy truly is breathtaking, even by the low bar Democrats have set for themselves.

Unlike Trump and Flynn, who became the object of illegitimate investigations, Swalwell was given a defensive briefing by the FBI when they came to learn about this effort.

She used political gatherings, civic society conferences, campaign rallies, and campus events to connect with elected officials and other prominent figures, according to U.S. intelligence officials, Bay Area political operatives, former students, and current and former elected officials who knew her.

U.S. intelligence officials believed she was overseeing likely unwitting subagents whom she helped place in local political and congressional offices.
Fang attended regional conferences for U.S. mayors, which allowed her to grow her network of politicians across the country.
She also engaged in sexual or romantic relationships with at least two mayors of Midwestern cities over a period of about three years, according to one U.S. intelligence official and one former elected official.
At least two separate sexual interactions with elected officials, including one of these Midwestern mayors, were caught on FBI electronic surveillance of Fang, according to two intelligence officials. Axios was unable to identify or speak to the elected officials. –Axios

Some politicians she’s known to have crossed paths with along the line?

-Tulsi Gabbard
-Ro Khanna
-Swalwell
-Judy Chu
-Mike Honda

The bottom line: U.S. officials believe Fang’s real reason for being in the U.S was to gather political intelligence and to influence rising U.S. officials on China-related issues.

Close relationships between a U.S. elected official and a covert Chinese intelligence operative can provide the Chinese government with opportunities to sway the opinion of key decision-makers.
Beijing may aim to influence foreign policy issues directly related to China, or issues closer to home, such as partnering with Chinese companies for local investment — an issue particularly salient among local-level officials such as mayors and city council members.

Is NOW a good time to mention the conspiracy of silence the media deployed about Hunter Biden’s financial entanglements not just to Burisma, but also Russia and China — entanglements that have been confirmed by the Senate?

They WANT politicians they can lead around with a carrot or a stick.

Joe Biden and his family seem like they’re vulnerable on both fronts. And, while we’re at it, now seems like a REALLY good time to start checking out any connections Kamala has with Chinese corporations.

Senior U.S. intelligence officials provided multiple defensive briefings around 2015 to warn targeted local and national politicians about Fang’s connections to Chinese intelligence and potential Chinese assets in their offices, one of these officials said.

U.S. intelligence officials also provided multiple briefings to White House officials and members of Congress on the case, a current senior official said.

…Bureau officials said Fang’s activities were part of a “long game play” targeting local politicians, Harrison recalled. The FBI told him the Chinese government’s strategy is “to strike up a relationship with you and see if you move up the line,” Harrison said. –Axios

In 2015, they gave this courtesy to Democrats that they never gave to Republicans in 2016.

She abruptly left the country.

You’d think, after all of this, Democrats would have been as anxious to denounce China as they have been to denounce Russia, for the 2016 election, or at least for the 2020 election.

Despite all of the things Dems knew about China, they somehow failed to call China out as a serious threat, and are looking to pick up relations more or less where Obama’s administration left off.

But we’re definitely supposed to believe Biden is representing the national interest and not his private ones. Definitely. No joke.

Would a Democrat ever lie to you?
