Revival In The Time Of COVID — Franklin Graham Says More People Have Received Christ in 2020 Than In 2019

Written by Wes Walker on December 4, 2020

China may think it’s ‘winning’ because COVID has hurt Americans economically, but in at least ONE specific way, it has made us stronger. It’s one way the CCP has NO way of countering.

Despite all the odds stacked against it, God has been busy.

He’s been busy building His church.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, President of both the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and the Samaritan’s Purse, told the Christian Post that more people gave their lives to Christ this year as compared to the number of people making the decision to follow Christ as Lord last year.

What’s even more interesting here is that the surge in the number of people who have turned to the Lord was recorded at a time when churches were forced to stop holding worship services, reduce the number of people that can attend, or avoid singing if ever they can attend.

It was also recorded at a time when street evangelism, evangelistic crusades, and other outreach methods were at least hindered or canceled due to the rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases everywhere.

“I think there’s nothing normal about 2020. We’ve never gone through a pandemic in my lifetime. The world has never been locked down before,” Graham told the Christian Post. “It’s God who touches people’s hearts and opens up people’s eyes. The pandemic hasn’t stopped it. If anything, it’s advanced it.”

Although he was reluctant to give numbers because “God’s the one who gives the increase,” “it’s not Franklin Graham and it’s not the institution,” the son of the late beloved evangelist and pastor to presidents said about 1.7 million people gave their lives to Christ this year – a staggering increase compared to 1.4 million in 2019. – ChristianityDaily

Every so often God allows those things we lean on to be shaken up.

That tends to be the moment when many realize they’ve been trusting in something that will eventually betray that trust, and they go looking elsewhere.

It’s in that unsettled-ness that many find their way back to God. It’s only then that they find how much of what they thought they knew about God had more to do with pop-culture and lame church leaders than it did the Author of Life.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
