‘Instead of panicking, let’s find solutions’ — Dana White

This short clip opens a 64oz can of Whoop-ass on the media panic-mongers.

All the doom-and-gloom headlines predicting the MMA events would fail and put everyone massively in harm’s way for the virus?

Dana got to make them eat their words.

This is UFC’s answer to the critics… and a kick in the ass to anyone taking their negative news too seriously.

Don’t forget who it is that’s trying to scare you here, and what they’ve said before.

Sometimes, the best answer to your critics is simply going out there and proving them wrong.

The first part of the video covers the nay-sayers predicting catastrophe. Small-minded people with no vision saw his goal of keeping UFC open without making everyone sick as impossible.

Dana White saw it as just another business problem needing a solution.

Guess who was ultimately proven right?

“I’ve also secured an island. We’re going to do all of our international fights on this island.”

Pans to a series of criticisms of the very idea of Fight Island.

Flashes a series of accomplishments across the screen.

“We’re going to do everything above and beyond to make sure everybody is safe.”

“The media said I was risking people’s health so I could line my own pockets. I didn’t do this so I could make more money. I have plenty of money. I did this so my fighters could make money and my employees could continue to make a living and feed their families.”

[Zero Jobs Lost At UFC]

“Our events were successful in every way, shape, and form that an event can be successful. I’m proud of my crew. We pulled this thing off. That’s what we’ve always done, and that’s what we’re going to continue to do.”

And here’s the kicker.

“The media are not in the news business. They’re in the clickbait business. They think negativity sells and gets clicks. So that’s what they deliver. Negativity is their product. But I’m not going to let that stop us. Any time there’s great success, it’s surrounded by negativity. But here’s the reality — none of the media people know anything about this business.”

“A lot of people did not want this to happen. But what we’re really good at, is proving people wrong. That is what we do at the UFC.”

That’s some awesome rowdy, defiant, old-school, masculine damn-the-torpedoes leadership.

As good as that is, we’ve got an even stronger example than his.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
