You might want to familiarize yourself with this juicy little piece of legislation. Because it may be coming soon to your neck of the woods. You might even be the one who suggests your elected officials adopt it.
Introducing: “Second Amendment Preservation Act of Newton County Missouri”
We’ve seen 2A sanctuary city policy before. But this one has a twist. It criminalizes the enforcement of unconstitutional policies.
Newton County, Missouri passed a bill that blocks federal enforcement of unconstitutional gun policies and criminalizes their implantation. @RMConservative

Here is a summary of a few key points:
Federal laws, regs, etc passed by Federal government and specifically by any Presidential Administration past, present or future which infringe on the right to keep and bear arms shall be invalid in the county, shall not be recognized by this county, and specifically rejected by this county, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this county.
Examples:
-Tax levy, fee or stamp imposed on firearms, accessory or ammunition not common to all other goods and services.
-Any registering or tracking of firearms, accessories, or ammunition.
-Confiscation orders.
-Any act past, present, or future passed by Congress infringing on right to keep and bear arms (examples include: H.R 30, H.R. 38, H.R 21, H.R 137, and H.R. 167)Courts and law enforcement agencies have a duty to protect law-abiding citizen’s rights, and no public officer or county employee can have authority to enforce any federal laws infringing on 2a.
Any person acting as an official, agent,employee or deupty enforcing these infringements or helping others to do so will be PERMANENTLY INELIGIBLE TO BE HIRED AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OF TO SUPERVISE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
Federal agents trying to enforce the above shall be subject to arrest by the Sheriff’s department.
This isn’t just a BILL.
This is a LAW. It has been enacted.
With responses like this in play, (especially if they are mirrored elsewhere across the country) perhaps gun-grabbing Democrats won’t see the smooth sailing they expected in their fever dreams of gun confiscation and abridging 2A rights.
