With all the talk about Trump and the Republicans wanting to “undermine” the totally legitimate Presidential election, will the same standard be applied to this action?

Democrats are now pushing to overturn the results of Iowa’s Second Congressional District because it was won by a Republican with the thinnest of margins — 6 votes. It seems that move is supported all the way to the top by the Speaker of the House and the President of the United States.

Quite a move for the “Democratic Party” brand, eh?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has allowed the process to unseat the GOP Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks to begin.

Here is Speaker Pelosi defending her actions to former Clinton hatchet-man turned serious journalist, George Stephanopoulos:

She now wants to be credited for unseating a duly-elected Republican.

She’s such a ghoul.

Rita Hart, the Democrat challenger to Rep. Miller-Meeks, didn’t go through the court system which she could have done, she went to her party in Washington to overturn the certified election.

Here is Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) saying precisely that:

In a presser on Friday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that President Biden supports the move to unseat Rep. Miller-Meeks.

This is all very interesting.

After months of the partisan presstitutes caterwauling about the need for Republicans to “respect democracy” after the 2020 election, they’re not doing the same sort of shrieking over the Democrat push to unseat a Republican.

Were there some questions and problems during the November Presidential election? Yep. Did Pennsylvania violate their State Constitution to change their election process because there was a pandemic? Absolutely. Did other states make changes on the fly in an election year that may have undermined the integrity of the election? Yes, they did. Does that mean that the results would have been different? We will never know. It’s important to note that no court looked at the evidence in any of the many cases filed by Trump or his allies. But that’s neither here nor there now. The Presidential election results have been certified. It’s over, done, and now in the history books.

Or is it?

If House Democrats push to remove a member of Congress after her race has been certified by her state and she has been sworn in and has been seated for two months, doesn’t that leave room to rehash what happened in November?

Sure, it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison, and it’s not anywhere near a close margin of 6 votes, but it does show that Democrats are contesting the results of an election even after it has been certified by the state and a Congresswoman has been seated for months.

Although former President Trump insists that he won in November, his attempt to challenge the official results once his court cases were rejected and co-Presidents Jamala Biden-Harris were sworn in.

If Trump’s court challenges and rhetoric were “threats to democracy” then what do you call the Democrats in Washington’s disdain for voters in Iowa’s Second Congressional district after their race has been certified?

At the very least, perhaps the lambasting of Trump and Republicans as anti-democratic could stop.

Republicans have been very outspoken on this anti-democratic move.

If the corporate media was honest, they would ask Democrats how this act is democratic and not an affront to the voters in Iowa. But you’re not going to get that. The Media (D) take care of their own.
