When Orwell showed how totalitarians used language to control the public, these SOBs were busy taking notes.

It seems as though they find a new way to weaponize the machinery of the government against their enemies with every passing day.

The ‘disinformation’ narrative the Dems have been advancing since Trump was still looking forward to his Inauguration Day is metastasizing and taking on a new malevolent form.

The same people who took a politically manufactured smear job they themselves ginned up against a Presidential Nominee with the explicit purpose of destroying him and leveraged it into a years-long campaign of personal and political destruction are concerned about ‘misinformation’ and ‘conspiracy theories’.

The people who justified looting and helped raise bail for people who looted and burned cities, leaving many police officers and civilians maimed or worse, while telling us that autonomous zones, burning police precincts, and the dangerous rise of well-funded and organized black-block agitators attacking federal buildings now pretend to be very worried about domestic terror.

They pretend to care about the constitution, election integrity, disinformation, and national security. But they don’t put their money where their mouth is.

Eric Swalwell remains on the Intelligence committee, yet Dems want to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from any position of authority. Republicans calling upon Congress to take a look at the election results and see any laws were broken, and whether reported irregularites should give reason to certify the OTHER electors some states had sent up to DC are a threat to Democracy, but Democrats conferring to decide whether they should remove a Republican who has already been SEATED in the House because they don’t like the result? That’s perfectly fine.

The hypocrisy goes on and on. And their water-carriers in the Press and Big Tech are making their duplicitous games that much simpler.

Q-Anon, which to most of us on the right was little more than a fringe group loosely gathered around the hope that Trump had some secret inside track on dealing with the cut-throat duplicitous DC swamp rats once and for all. Mostly harmless, not terribly organized.

But the same partisans that refuse to name Antifa as a real threat have ramped this threat up to eleven and tossed a few others in as part of the process.

Now that it’s been named as a dangerous ‘conspiracy theory’, it can be weaponized in exactly the same way that the rioters breaking into the Capitol building were used to smear the hoards of people who wanted to show up and one last Trump rally with the faint hope that he could somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat at the eleventh hour.

If you have any connection with certain political narratives, you will be disqualified from key roles in Government service.

Not surprisingly this would push control of even MORE key positions of government further and further to the political left. And we have all seen in the last few years exactly how trustworthy a politicized government bureaucracy can be.

This so-called “Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021” would ban all skeptics of all Official Narratives from ever occupying a senior US government position. Non-believers would be legally prohibited from aspiring to even the most middling State Department or Defense Department career. Blasphemers would be banned for life from all 17 (18?) intelligence agencies, as well as thousands of government contractor jobs and legislative committee roles.

Disgraced national security reporter Josh Rogin of the Washington Post whitewashed the proposed bill as a sensible measure to stop nebulous “QAnon” believers from exerting institutional influence. But WaPo’s slime job egregiously mischaracterizes the proposed legislation.

The Democrat crimethink bill clearly prohibits any “association with” any “conspiracy theories and false information about the United States Government.” Even Rep. Turner’s press release stipulates that so-called “QAnon” beliefs are just a start: –Revolver

Here are some excerpts from that press release:

U.S. Representative Stephanie Murphy, D-Fla., a member of the House Armed Services Committee, will introduce legislation to disqualify participants in the violent assault on the United States Capitol and members of the conspiracy movement QAnon from obtaining or maintaining a federal security clearance, which an individual must possess in order to hold a national security position and to access classified information.

…“Any individual who participated in the assault on the Capitol or who is a member of the conspiracy movement QAnon should be required to disclose this fact when applying to obtain or maintain a federal security clearance,” said Murphy, a former national security specialist at the Department of Defense who held a high-level security clearance. “It is highly unlikely that such an individual will be found by investigators to have shown the conduct, character, and loyalty to the United States that is a prerequisite to holding a national security position and viewing classified information.”

The 130-page SF-86 covers many topics, including an applicant’s work history, foreign activities, psychological health, and police record. Section 29 of the questionnaire asks applicants about their “Association Record.” However, Section 29 is limited in scope. Applicants are asked whether they have ever been a member of an organization dedicated to terrorism; an organization dedicated to the use of violence or force to overthrow the U.S. government; or an organization that advocates the use of force or violence to discourage others from exercising their rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Murphy’s bill, the Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021, would direct the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to add another question to Section 29 that asks applicants whether they have ever been a member of, associated with, or knowingly engaged in activities conducted by an organization or movement—like QAnon—that spreads conspiracy theories and false information about the U.S. government.

…In addition, Murphy’s legislation would require the security clearance process—whether the SF-86, the interview portion, or both—to ask applicants whether they participated in the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol or a similar “Stop the Steal” event, and the precise role they played in that event. Even if it does not constitute a criminal offense, attendance at an event designed to overturn the results of a presidential election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power raises serious questions about an applicant’s suitability for a security clearance.

We would like to remind Murphy that their beloved Brennan voted for a Communist candidate during the Cold War, abused his authority to spy on the computers of sitting Senators, and likely played some sort of a role in the Steele Dossier scandals to take down a Presidental Nominee… and the Democrats fought like HELL to keep him from losing his security clearance.

This isn’t about security, it’s about consolidating power. And they are entirely willing to run roughshod over the First Amendment Freedom of Assembly and Petitioning your government to do so.

Some people have already paid a heavy price for merely being in attendance of Trump’s January speech. If they have their way, many more will do the same.
