Two GOP Senators are making it very clear that they’re not going to allow the left to shovel their B.S. narrative while Hamas continues to target Israeli civilians while using civilians in Gaza as human shields.

There is no moral equivalency here.

Anyone with an iota of understanding of the history of the Middle East knows that Jews have continuously lived in the region that is now known as Israel for thousands of years. They are, by all accounts, the indigenous people of the region, and not the “colonizers” that the left claims that they are. Israel is the only inclusive democracy in the region.

Hamas is a terrorist organization. It doesn’t want a “two-state solution” because it believes that the land has been rightfully conquered centuries ago. The Hamas founding document includes the line, “Israel will exist, and will continue to exist, until Islam abolishes it, as it abolished that which was before it.” They don’t want to negotiate. Hamas is an insane, Islamofascist death cult.

And yet, members of “The Squad” are condemning Israel for defending itself against terrorists.

Senator Mitch McConnell(R-KY) wasn’t having it. He said that Israel is a responsible state defending itself against terrorist aggressors.

Senator Tom Cotton(R-AK) says that the “intrepid” Associated Press journos have some ‘splainin’ to do!

If the Associated Press didn’t know that their neighbors were from Hamas, then they’re not great journalists. If they did know and didn’t reveal it to their readers, how can we trust them to be objective?

The photograph below precisely captures the issue that is going on right now. On the right side of the photo, you see Hamas rockets being fired indiscriminately from Gaza targeting Israeli civilians while on the left, you see Israel’s Iron Dome in action protecting civilian lives by shooting down the Hamas rockets.

One side wants to wreak indiscriminate havoc and kill civilians because they’re terrorists, the other is doing its best to save lives. Of course, Israel also has a right to itself from terrorist attacks.

Hamas is proud to be an Islamofascist death cult, and the left doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge that.

Look, Israel isn’t perfect, and well, in their attempt to create a functional democracy in the region, they’ve had a farcical number of general elections in the past couple of years — four between April 2019 to March 2021 — but let’s contrast that to the last time that the Palestinians had an election which was in 2004. Palestinian Authority leader, Mahmoud Abbas took office as President on January 15, 2005, for a four-year term, but hasn’t relinquished the reigns of power since. Abbas just pushed back the upcoming election indefinitely and blamed Israel for the delay. Of course, he did.

But as the left unilaterally condemns Israel, they give Gaza and the terrorists there a pass.

The official Twitter account for the State of Israel tweeted this powerful thread on Monday:

Israel has the right to exist, and as Sen. McConnell said, “If Hams laid down their weapons tomorrow, there would be no more fighting, but if Israel laid down their weapons tomorrow, there’d be no more Israel.”

We all know that’s true…even the “useful idiots” on the Left.
