President Joe Biden doesn’t understand the Second Amendment.
President Biden is pushing for gun control because of the significant rise in crime. True to form for a Democrat, Biden seems to be oblivious to the flaws in left-wing policies that create horrible outcomes. We see that with the Biden-Harris “humane” border policy as well as the “defund the police” movement combined with refusing to keep criminals locked up that has caused a steep rise in crime — especially in the cities.
The Democrat solution to this is obviously a crackdown on law-abiding gun owners rather than criminals.
In his presser yesterday, a muttering, seemingly confused Joe Biden dismissed the Second Amendment because the government is so powerful that it would take F-15s and nuclear weapons to fight against it.
He said, “Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we’re gonna have to move against the government. If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.”

Does that sound like a threat from the guy who was the Vice President when then-President Obama was droning civilians in the Middle East? Why yes, yes it does.
Let’s not forget that Barry’s “wingman”, Eric Holder, who was Attorney General at the time, said that the President could authorize the killing of Americans on U.S. soil and without trial “in extraordinary circumstances.”
Interestingly, this is from the same guy that has called the riot with a bunch of MAGA-hat-wearing Trump supporters on January 6 in D.C. an “insurrection” and said it’s a “threat to democracy” because these unarmed people were going to overthrow the government.
Well, which is it? Is the unarmed grandma going to overthrow the government and the greatest “threat to democracy since the Civil War” or not?
Biden also repeated the old canard that the Second Amendment was limited and that people weren’t allowed to own cannons. PolitiFact even admitted that this isn’t true. Apparently, Joe isn’t familiar with the concept of “privateers”.
As the Corporate Media says, Republicans — and those who are considered right-wing by the media — “pounced” on the unbelievable statement.
Our founders explicitly wanted an armed citizenry to keep potentially tyrannical governments in check.
Instead of threatening to nuke law-abiding American citizens, maybe this doddering old fool should ask himself why crime is rising so rapidly in cities w/ the most gun control? https://t.co/uus7Mv8eNS

DC is threatening to nuke its own people again. The Swalwell Doctrine. https://t.co/MkAL7ngXgt

Biden is unfamiliar with recent history in Afghanistan, apparently https://t.co/poEiIgt0Xs

Biden is basically saying to the American people that Thomas Jefferson was wrong and there is nothing you can do to stop us at this point so don’t try https://t.co/77IYrf0JEi

Biden is now threatening Americans who criticize the government with nuclear weapons and fighter jets.
This senile old lunatic is out of his mind.

You’re not a conservative if you voted for this man. https://t.co/L19jDRY74q

Brought to you by the same party who screamed that Trump was a fascist. https://t.co/3iEXp3TUHK

A president implicitly threatening to scramble jets and nuke American citizens is about as good a defense of the 2A as I can think of. Gun rights groups couldn’t have made a better argument. https://t.co/hCECCvXHff

Every Democrat, media outlet, entertainer, and professor will give Biden a pass for threatening violence against the Right.
Not because Biden is a Democrat. But because they all feel the same way.
Remember that.

Nobody has ever heard “guns won’t protect you from the force of the government” and thought “oh well in that case I’ll give up my guns.”
They think “well I guess I better get a bigger gun.” https://t.co/aztV73n14f

Weird flex, not OK: Threatening nuclear war with Americans. https://t.co/QEPHuZl1Cb

American president tells Americans that any concerns over a tyrannical government taking root are moot because the government has F-15s and nukes. Yikes. https://t.co/oEgF7troS8

How very King George III of Joe Biden. https://t.co/odpExejTyv
— BDW (@BryanDeanWright) June 23, 2021
It’s kind of weird messaging after we’ve been told for five straight months that January 6 was an “insurrection” and an attempt to “overthrow the government.”
“If you think it’s necessary to have a gun to resist the power of the state, just remember, you can’t resist, because we’ll nuke you” is a hell of a take https://t.co/ljJTWN8bYP
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) June 23, 2021
And Twitter, I’m going to need somebody to photoshop Joe Biden riding a nuke a la Slim Pickens in “Dr. Strangelove” ASAP.
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) June 24, 2021
But wait…. January 6th was an insurrection, or something… https://t.co/XnrEAlXhW9

the escalating speed of social media makes it literally impossible for them to maintain a coherent narrative amidst shifting conditions
— Michael Malice (@michaelmalice) June 23, 2021
After all, an “armed insurrection” against the government doesn’t require guns only some bear spray, flag poles, and a walking stick that doubles as a stun gun as the insurrectionists take selfies.
No nukes necessary. https://t.co/RI1WSdbQp8
— Julie Kelly ?? (@julie_kelly2) June 24, 2021
Also, a bunch of unarmed grandmas taking selfies is an insurrection. https://t.co/hgYGwH6Nzt
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) June 23, 2021
I’m now for expanding the 2nd Amendment to include the right to bear nuclear weapons…. https://t.co/jOBc7ZwcS0

Solid stuff.
Sometimes, the best takes aren’t from the Blue-Check Brigade…
Did this motherfucker really just say he would nuke American citizens? Like holy shit.

Perhaps the best response, however, was this one quoting Magna Carta.
Hey @JoeBiden my only two choices are live free or die. If you want to nuke us, then nuke us. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people. https://t.co/sCHJLjBd6M
