Oh, how the mighty have fallen. It’s got to be a bad day for all of the “Cuomosexuals” out there…

The Emmy-winning Democrat hero in New York that some wanted to swoop in and become the Nominee in 2020 has resigned in disgrace.

On Tuesday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo continued to insist that he was innocent of the accusations, but “for the good of the state” he will be stepping down in 14 days.

It looked like Governor Andrew Cuomo was going to stand his ground and fight, but after his closest aide/office pitbull, Melissa DeRosa, resigned over the weekend, it was unclear if he would be able to withstand the bipartisan MeToo backlash.

Nevertheless… he desisted.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday announced that he was would be resigning amid the sexual harassment probe in 14 days.

“New York tough means New York loving, and I love New York and I love you,” Cuomo said, “I would never want to be unhelpful in any way, and I think given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing, and therefore, that’s what I’ll do.”

The governor started his press conference by saying he’s “deeply” sorry for any behavior deemed inappropriate during his time in office but denied the sexual harassment allegations by multiple current and former employees during state Attorney General Letitia James’ investigation. Cuomo accused state investigators of bias after the report accused him of sexually harassing 11 women from 2013 to 2020 in violation of state and federal law.

Here is the announcement:

Before his announcement, an attorney spoke for nearly 40 minutes, raising questions about the veracity of the Attorney General’s report on allegations of sexual harassment against Cuomo. The Governor followed insisting that he was stepping down for the sake of New York residents and not because he’s guilty of sexual harassment.

The only thing wrong with this is that he resigned in disgrace for the wrong thing. As disgusting as this narcissistic imbecile was with women working for him, the thing that should have caused him to resigned in disgrace was his nursing home order forcing COVID-positive patients back into nursing homes while not using the Navy hospital ship or the pop-up hospital at the Javits Center, and covering up the death toll.

Janice Dean, who lost both her in-laws due to Cuomo’s deadly nursing home order has thoughts on Cuomo’s resignation.

Not everyone is going to be so thrilled.

It’s going to be very awkward for all the so-called “Cuomosexuals” out there that were getting hot and bothered by the creepy, grabby, troll-faced New York Governor because he wasn’t a Bad Orange Man.

Many of these were equally creepy celebrities.

It’s such a shame that it makes them look like partisan buffoons who read the “political menu” right to left and only support people with a “D” after their name.

But perhaps they can find themselves a new hero… maybe the Governor of Virginia is looking for sycophants?
