It’s almost like this incompetent administration doesn’t understand that there is a massive foreign policy failure that just occurred under their watch with the fallout still unfolding.
On Friday evening, Vice President Kamala Harris was all smiles and cackles as she approached the Corporate Media before boarding a plane for her week-long overseas trip to South East Asia.
She’s heading to Singapore on Sunday, and then to Vietnam on Tuesday and will stay until Thursday. Considering the Biden-Harris administration has just managed to recreate Siagon 2.0 in Kabul, it seems an appropriate trip.
After her Very Important Trip to South East Asia, Kamala will not head back to D.C. directly, but is going to make a stop in her home state of California to stump for Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom to push back against the recall bid against him.
As for Joe, he was scheduled to spend a long weekend in Delaware after his Camp David vacation, but his trip was canceled. Either he was shamed into staying, or he’s just not up for travel. Biden has spent 4 of the last 15 days in Washington during what is obviously the largest foreign policy crisis in a generation.
As the Corporate Journos shouted questions about Afghanistan, after an uncomfortable cackle, she remembered to put on a serious face and cut them off before she had to answer for the administration’s unbelievable dumbassery.
Despite hiding away for more than a week as the Taliban took hold of Afghanistan before the U.S. could evacuate American citizens and pull out all troops, Harris insisted that the administration is focused on Afghanistan.
“We couldn’t have a higher priority right now,” said the Vice President just before boarding the plane for her second overseas trip.
She added, “And a particular high priority is making sure that we safely evacuate American citizens, Afghans who worked with us, Afghans at risk — including women and children. And that is one of our highest if not the highest priority right now, and a big area of focus for me, in the past days and weeks, and will continue to be.”
She then defended her overseas trip because the United States is a “global leader” and has interests all over the world.
Officials said she will continue to work on Afghanistan while in Asia.
Yet her visit comes at an intensely difficult time for the Biden administration, amid widespread condemnation of their handling of the fall of Kabul.
She is not even returning directly to Washington DC: on Friday, she will detour en route home to California, to campaign on behalf of Governor Gavin Newsom, who is facing a recall election on [September 14.]…
…Harris herself has also been criticized for failing to address the issue, while other senior figures like the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of State, National Security Adviser and Biden himself have been forced to defend their actions in repeated interviews and remarks.
‘On our way to Southeast Asia to visit Singapore and Vietnam,’ she tweeted on Friday night.
Her departure at a time of crisis will fuel criticism of her as an ineffective and inconsequential vice president.

Geez… Kamala Harris is so unlikable she’s giving Hillary a run for her money!
With her bungling of the border and the way that she was trying to claim credit for Biden’s decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and the absolute crapshow that it became because the administration did it in the most asinine way possible… her favorability rating isn’t improving. This is pretty bad news since her campaign to be the Democratic nominee in 2020 didn’t outlast Senator Cory “I Am Spartacus” Booker (D-NJ).
Last week, Rasmussen Reports published a poll that shows that the majority of Americans don’t think that Harris is qualified to become President, and a whopping 47% think that she’s “not at all qualified.”
And remember who is President — a doddering old man who shuffles and slurs his words and has to have staff-prepared cue cards to answer questions. He was a colossal mediocrity when he was in the Senate and when he was Vice President.
The only thing that has changed is that we’re now spared his long, rambling, incoherent speeches that have now been scripted into bite-sized chunks that he squints to mumble through.
Thank God for that!
But even with Biden’s Presidential approval rating sinking like a stone, voters still think it’s better to have the Shambling Mound of Mediocrity muttering about ice cream than Kamala Harris running things.
That’s pretty sad for Democrats, but good news for the GOP… if they don’t screw it up. Which, unfortunately, they seem quite capable of doing.
