He said he only has 180 days to “turn students into revolutionaries” and it appears that he’s doing everything he can to accomplish his goal.
Project Veritas released a video of the far-left California public school teacher admitting that he is politically indoctrinating his students.
Gabriel Gipe is an Advanced Placement (AP) Government teacher at Inderkum High School in Sacramento, California.
“I have 180 days to turn them [students] into revolutionaries,” said Gipe. When asked how he does that, he says, “Scare the f*ck out of them.”
Gipe says that he thinks that there are a lot of teachers like him.
He makes his students take an ideology quiz at the beginning of the course and has them provide a photo of themselves which he pins on the bulletin board indicating where they fall on the political spectrum.
How is that acceptable? Doesn’t that put pressure on students to conform? Perhaps that’s precisely the point.
Gipe says that he doesn’t get a whole lot of pushback from parents because his students are in 12th Grade and by that time, most parents have “backed off” and let students “fend for themselves.”
“Every year, they get further and further left… I’m like, ‘These ideologies are considered extreme, right? Extreme times breed extreme ideologies.’ Right? There is a reason why Generation Z, these kids, are becoming further and further left,” said Gipe.
The teacher, who was wearing an Antifa shirt in the video, said that he entices his students to participate in leftwing activism — like opposing right-wing rallies — by offering extra credit for writing a report on their experiences. He posts a calendar of events every week.
Gipe’s classroom is filled with leftwing propaganda including a poster of Chinese Communist revolutionary Mao Zedong who is responsible for the deaths of perhaps as many as 80 million people during the revolution and the “Great Leap Forward.”
There is an Antifa flag on the wall and when an anonymous comment was made saying the flag made a student feel uncomfortable, Gipe said the Antifa flag “is meant to make fascists feel uncomfortable, so if you feel uncomfortable, I don’t really know what to tell you. Maybe you shouldn’t be aligning with the values that this [Antifa flag] is antithetical to.”
He also discussed the problems with the government and offered a solution — a violent overthrow of the government, you know, what we used to call an insurrection.
“Like, why aren’t people just taking up arms? Like why can’t we, you know — take up arms against the state? We have historical examples of that happening, and them getting crushed and being martyrs for a cause and it’s like — okay well, it’s slow going because it takes a massive amount of organization,” said Gipe.
He then went on to discuss how the United States could implement the disastrous “Cultural Revolution” perpetrated by Chinese Communists resulting in (the aforementioned) up to 80 million deaths.
“You need a two-pronged system, which is exactly what Huey Newton and Fred Hampton [Black Panther Party] understood,” said Gipe. “You need propaganda of the deed — your economics — and cultural propaganda as well. You need to retrain the way people think. So, the Cultural Revolution in the 60s was fixing the problem that came about after the economic one.”
“What can we do now to root out this culture that keeps perpetuating hyper-individualism, hyper-competitiveness, capitalist exploitation and consolidation of wealth… I do think that it’s important to understand that as an extension of an economic revolution, they [Chinese Communist Party] were changing the base, and then they went to change the superstructure. You cannot change one without the other. You can’t have cultural shifts without the economic shift, and vice versa,” he continued.
“I think that for [left-wing] movements in the United States, we need to be able to attack both [cultural and economic] fronts. Right? We need to create parallel structures of power because we cannot rely on the state,” he explained. “Consistently focusing on education and a change of cultural propaganda. We have to hit both fronts. We have to convince people that this is what we actually need.”
He’s talking about indoctrination.
And that’s precisely what he’s doing.
