Thousands of children will not be in school on Monday as parents protest California Governor Gavin Newsom’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement for students, by taking their kids to the state capitol to protest.
…The “Our Children, Our Choice!” protest will take place at the California State Capitol in Sacramento, at 10 a.m. local time. On the Facebook event, there are more than 1,100 people indicating they are “going” and more than 3,300 who say they are “interested”.
Tess Van Dusen, event organizer, said in a statement: “We’re fighting for the freedom to make the medical choices that are best for our children. We are fully prepared to pull our kids from public school and hire our own teaching staff if that’s what it takes. We do not co-parent with the government.”
“The point of this protest is for the right of choice. We have a right to do what is best for our family—that’s the bottom line,” said Amber Faddis, another protest organizer. –NewsWeek
Liberals don’t mind those *other* people being bossed around, to be threatened with firing if they don’t comply with the latest micromanagement of the COVIDicataors. Some are so driven by fear that they think it’s saving the world from some modern equivalent of the Black Plague.
Others just enjoy the schadenfreude of their the people they’ve spent months demonizing as knuckle-dragging, brain-dead, Trump-supporting, Anti-Vaxxers getting squeezed out of polite society — and even their jobs — because they won’t just do like everyone else and get the jab.
But now, even the Bluest of blue states is facing pushback.
It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.
We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.
It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.
Let’s give them a reminder…
