CLUELESS JOE: John Kerry Said Biden Was ‘Not Aware’ That France Would Be Ticked Off Because Of AUKUS Sub Deal (VIDEO)

The question is… What exactly did Kerry mean by this?

Was he implying that Joe Biden, who clearly thinks of himself as a “foreign policy expert”, didn’t realize that having the Australians sideline their submarine deal with the French for one with the U.S. and the U.K. would irk France?

Did he mean that Clueless Joe simply didn’t know about the submarine deal between France and Australia, or that he was told and then forgot?

Is Kerry admitting that Biden is deliberately kept out of the loop and the country is being run by people who think they’re in a real-time, reality TV version of Aaron Sorkin’s political drama, “The West Wing”?

Or is it that John Kerry, who consistently shows that he thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room, has tossed his Senate buddy, Joe, under the bus because of recent polling and a potential run in 2024? Maybe that’s a stretch — after all, Kerry is still as unlikeable as a root canal — but Biden’s “Climate Czar” certainly isn’t doing Joe any favors here…

Climate envoy John Kerry made an extraordinary admission to French TV on Monday that President Biden ‘literally had not been aware’ of the fallout of the AUKUS submarine deal that caused France to lose a $90billion submarine contract.

‘He literally had not been aware of what had transpired,’ Kerry, who serves as President Biden’s climate envoy, told French broadcaster BFMTV.

Kerry made the comment in an interview conducted in both French and English that aired Monday, while US diplomats including Secretary of State Anthony Blinken tried to heal the rift with the French during meetings in Paris.

The French government said it was stabbed in the back by its close allies over the nuclear-powered submarine deal – part of the so-called AUKUS security pact between the United States, Australia and Britain announced on Sept. 15 – and the wounds would take time to heal.

‘And I don’t want to go into the details of it, but suffice it to say, that the president, my president is very committed to strengthening the relationship and making sure that this is a small event of the past and moving on to the much more important future,’ said Kerry.

As Kerry explained, ‘President Biden asked me about it, and I told him.’ His interviewer pressed: ‘You told Joe Biden that it was not the right …’

Kerry interjected: ‘He asked me. He said, “What’s the situation?” And I explained exactly. He had not been aware of that,’ said Kerry.

Joe’s handlers must’ve assumed that he’d be able to handle an 11-minute shared announcement or he’d know to refer to his “cards” — they were wrong.

Bizarrely, Biden says that he’s been referred to as an “expert” on foreign policy.

Joe Biden just claimed he’s “always talked about as being a foreign policy expert.”

• gave a list of “Things That Shouldn’t Be Hacked” to Vladimir Putin
• cozies up to China as the CCP continues to flex its power in Hong Kong and Taiwan
• just bungled the withdrawal from Afghanistan
• droned 10 civilians — including an aid worker and 7 children
• has ticked off our closest allies with the withdrawal
• ticked off France by having Australia nix a $100 Billion deal for diesel submarines in favor of nuclear ones in the AUKUS deal
