By now, you’ve heard about the tragic loss of life when a young mother was shot dead on set by Alec Baldwin.
That tragic incident was not an accident. What you don’t know CAN hurt you. And it can hurt anyone around you.
That fatal decision was the predictable result of a string of bad decisions, carelessness, and human error. There are plenty of ‘failure points’ where an experienced gun owner could have averted the danger.
They were failure points that any gun safety course worth its salt (if properly followed) could have identified and spared the life of Halyna Hutchins.
There is a certain respect that needs to be shown for a firearm — any firearm — before someone even thinks about using it.
Baldwin has the rest of his life to contemplate these lessons. Halyna Hutchins doesn’t have that luxury.
Hollywood loves to raise ‘awareness’ about all kinds of social causes. How about we raise some safety ‘awareness’ that will actually save some lives? Let’s go.

From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
