If you’re trying to inspire public confidence and buy-in to the vaccine… this is the wrong way to get there.

Two kids, age 4 and 5 went in to get an ordinary flu shot. What they came out with was something else entirely.

Situations like this one are every parent’s nightmare.

Flu shots are routine enough, right? It’s a known technology, with a well-established risk profile. And statistically, the flu is actually more dangerous for young kids than that *other* virus everyone keeps talking about, so a flu shot seemed like the responsible choice for this particular family.

You do your best as a parent to do the right thing to keep your kids safe, a mistake is made by the professionals you have entrusted them to, and then … well, THIS happens.

Members of an Indiana family who went to get flu shots, including two children, were accidentally given adult doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, their attorney said.

They said it happened Monday [Oct 4] at a Walgreens pharmacy, WFIE reported.

[…] The family said they left the pharmacy thinking they had received their flu shots, but a Walgreens employee later called them and said they had made a mistake. The attorney said the cards were then issued since the coronavirus vaccine had been given.

Tuley said the children have been taken to a pediatric cardiologist, and the family was told both are showing signs of heart issues.

The family said the younger child has been sick with a fever and a cough. —InformationLiberation

The little girl has elevated blood pressure. The little boy has a rapid heart rate. Both children have developed fever and cough.

An image of the vaccination card shows that whoever prepared and administred the dose knew it was Pfizer — that’s what was written on the card — but still gave it to small children for whatever reason, whether it was just force of habit from so many COVID jabs or whatver else it may have been.
