Angry Joe Flip-Flops And Now Vigorously DEFENDS Payouts To Separated Illegal Migrant Families (VIDEO)

Just three days earlier, he had said that the report about paying illegal migrant families was “garbage.”

In late October, Tucker Carlson’s monologue covered a report by the Wall Street Journal that the Biden-Harris administration was considering paying $450,000 per individual affected by former President Trump’s policy to separate children and adults that crossed the border illegally.

On November 3, President Biden, while on the fake Oval Office sound stage, addressed the massive losses Democrats took in Virginia. He also took a few questions from reporters.

Unfortunately for the “Brandon” Administration, one of the questions was by Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy. Biden smiled and said that asking Doocy a question “ought to be good” — Doocy agreed.

Doocy asked if the report in the WSJ was correct and if the President thought that it would incentivize illegal border crossing.

Sleepy Joe dismissed the report as “garbage” and said that it would only incentivize people crossing illegally if the media kept reporting it as factual. He also said, “It’s not gonna happen.”

On November 4, when pressed on the issue by Doocy, White House Deputy Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, said that the President was reacting to the dollar figure, not the process of settling with families.

That looks like the President is not on the same page with his own administration.

But apparently, the admin managed to feed Biden some talking points to get him on board.

On November 6, Biden angrily responded to David Spunt, also of Fox News, and defended paying migrant families that crossed the border illegally with children.

Biden was speaking at a press conference touting the passage of the $1.2trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill when he was asked about the payments.

Fox News’ David Spunt asked: ‘You said last week, that this report about migrant families at the border getting payments was garbage.’

Biden interrupted: ‘No I didn’t say that, let’s get it straight, you said everybody coming across the border gets $450,000.’

Biden then was forceful in saying he would try to get payments to those families, criticizing former President Donald Trump’s border policy.

‘If in fact, because of the outrageous behavior of the last administration, you coming across the border – whether it was legal or illegal.’

Raising his voice into a yell, the president continued: ‘And you lost your child, you lost your child, it’s gone, you deserve some kind of compensation, no matter what the circumstance,’ he said. ‘What that will be, I have no idea.’

Do these families deserve more than what we give to the families of our fallen service members? Because that’s what could happen. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AK) says that the U.S. government pays less than a quarter of the floated settlement to the families of fallen American soldiers.

How about the families of people killed by illegal immigrants? Should they get “reparations”, too? We know that there are a number of “Angel families” out there.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis blasted the Biden-Harris administration after a man in his mid-20s posed as a 17-year old and killed the man who took him in after he was “relocated” to Florida.

It’s offensive that the American government would pay migrants who flood into the country illegally around half a million dollars per person after subjecting their children to a dangerous journey with human traffickers.

But this is the Biden-Harris “humane” border policy.

It’s also astoundingly hypocritical.

The Biden-Harris administration isn’t doing so well with keeping track of “unaccompanied minors” who have crossed the border illegally.

And they can’t seem to see that their new “humane” policy is incentivizing people to take that dangerous journey… or send their children alone to take that journey. Some of those “children” are what you might call “bad hombres.”

Let’s not forget that there are legitimate reasons to separate adults and children that cross the border illegally.

Since the Obama administration, and the catch-and-release policy for families, children were seen as a free ticket into the country. The human smuggling cartels knew this and used it in a rather disgusting way — they would send children with adults that they weren’t related to and claim to be families. So, now they’re not just illegally crossing, they’re lying to stay in the country. Thanks, Obama!

As awful as it is to lose your child, this was a risk that these migrants knowingly took when they chose to break the law during the Trump administration. The policy was criticized around the world because it was the “Bad Orange Man” that was doing it.

If these families think as little of their children as they do U.S. immigration law, and prefer to enter the country illegally risking separation rather than coming in at a legal point of entry where they won’t be separated, then why should we be paying them huge sums of money when the border is being overwhelmed? Maybe they should be seeking “reparations” from the cartels that lied to them and told them the trip would be easy.

The Biden-Harris administration has been the best thing for the cartels smuggling people across the border.
