So much for the President’s repeated claims that this is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

With all of the breakthrough infections, it’s looking more and more like a “pandemic of the vaccinated.”

On Sunday, three Democrat lawmakers announced that they had tested positive for the coronavirus despite having received the booster shot.

This trio had three jabs and still got the ‘Rona, but the vaccine is still “safe and effective”!

All three made their announcements on their official Twitter accounts with very similar wording — that although they tested positive with a “rare” breakthrough infection, their symptoms are mild, so get vaxxed!

Three Democratic members of Congress announced Sunday that they have breakthrough coronavirus infections.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Cory Booker of New Jersey as well as Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado shared that they had tested positive for Covid-19 via tweets from their official accounts.

They all reported having received Covid-19 booster shots and experiencing mild symptoms.

First up was Senator Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (D-MA) who made the announcement at around 4:30 pm.

The tweet said, “I regularly test for COVID & while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case. Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms & am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated & boosted.”

In a follow-up tweet with a link to the government website to find vaccines she wrote, “As cases increase across the country, I urge everyone who has not already done so to get the vaccine and the booster as soon as possible – together, we can save lives.”

Just shy of three hours later, Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) made his announcement.

“I learned today that I tested positive for COVID-19 after first feeling symptoms on Saturday. My symptoms are relatively mild. I’m beyond grateful to have received two doses of vaccine and, more recently, a booster – I’m certain that without them I would be doing much worse,” wrote Booker.

In a second tweet, he also linked vaccines.gov.

Two hours later, Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) wrote, “I just returned from an official congressional delegation visit to Ukraine and tested positive for a breakthrough COVID infection. I’m thankful to be fully vaccinated and boosted and experiencing only mild symptoms (the vaccine is safe and effective).”

His second tweet had — you guessed it — a link to vaccines.org.

It seems they all got their marching orders and obediently followed them.

While Democrat lawmakers are now revealing that they’re testing positive for the coronavirus, the White House is changing its messaging on the pandemic to focus on the severity of illness rather than the number of cases.

Convenient timing.

Case counts were used as a cudgel to beat down red states like Florida and Texas as case counts were rising among the young and less vulnerable over the summer.

Meanwhile, the administration is going to continue to vilify the unvaccinated and stoke fear.

A screenshot of a published White House briefing was being shared on Twitter on the weekend showing the horrendous pivot that the administration is making.

White House COVID Response Coordinator Jeff Zients said that the unvaccinated will be looking at “a winter of severe illness and death” for themselves and their loved ones and warned that they would overwhelm the hospitals.

It’s an unbelievably divisive message that continues to ignore the robust natural immunity from prior infection.

Yes, that’s 100% real.

Our vaccines work against Omicron, especially for people who get booster shots when they are eligible. If you are vaccinated, you could test positive. But if you do get COVID, your case will likely be asymptomatic or mild.

We are intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You’ve done the right thing, and we will get through this.

For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.

You can watch Mr. Zients make the statement here:

CNN reports that this pivot could be a difficult one for the administration that has constantly speaking about “ending” the pandemic. When he was running for President, Biden said that he would “shut down the virus, not the economy.” He’s done the exact opposite.

Some of Biden’s advisers are encouraging the administration to begin discussing publicly how to live alongside a virus that shows no signs of disappearing, a potentially stark shift in messaging for a White House that once touted “freedom from the virus.”

Steering public attention away from the total number of infections and toward serious cases only — as some Biden advisers have encouraged — could prove a challenge after nearly two years of intense focus on the pandemic’s every up and down. It is a part of a growing conundrum that Biden faces as the Covid-19 pandemic refuses to abate.

“We’re getting to the point now where … it’s about severity,” said Xavier Becerra, the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, in a meeting with reporters this week. “It’s not about cases. It’s about severity.”

The Shambling Husk of Mediocrity said the same thing in his “direct message” to the American people last week.

Biden opened his appearance by declaring he wanted to deliver a “direct message” to the American people.

“For the unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated — for themselves, their families and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. But there’s good news: If you’re vaccinated and you have your booster shot, you’re protected from severe illness and death,” the President said.

He’d determined ahead of time that his message would be muddled if he answered any questions afterward, so he sat uncharacteristically silent as reporters peppered him on their way out.

“Uncharacteristically silent”… what the heck, CNN?! Biden walks out on questions ALL THE TIME.

After the bungling of the evacuation of Afghanistan, we saw more of his back than we did of his front, and he certainly wasn’t taking any questions until he was finally shamed into doing so.

You can see that the new talking points have been adopted by the regime’s apologists.

Screw you, Brian! He’s just feeling the heat now that CNN has announced it’s shutting down all of its offices in the United States for “nonessential” workers because of outbreaks. Now he wants to let the kids have normal lives?! One year ago, that was being an irresponsible “granny-killer.”

Let’s not forget what the Shambling Husk of Mediocrity had promised when he was running for President:

Never ever let Democrats forget that they promised to end the pandemic, not just learn to live with it.

Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, to buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
