Joe Biden just admitted that he can’t miraculously “shut down the virus” as he promised his paranoiac Democrat base that he would.
On Monday, the Shambling Husk of Mediocrity was trotted out by his handlers and propped up onto a sound stage replacement for the Oval Office where he told Governors that there is “no federal solution” to COVID-19 and it must be solved “at the state level.”
For months in 2020, Biden campaigned (from his basement) that he would “shut down the virus.” His confidence was presumably based on the assumption that the vaccines that were developed under Operation Warp Speed would do what the Big Pharma execs and the Corporate Media promised they would do — stop transmission. That clearly didn’t happen.
After months of blaming the unvaccinated for the continuing spread of the ‘Rona, and the promise of a winter of “severe illness and death” for the unvaxxed, it’s pretty clear now that COVID is spiking in states with high vaccination rates that this isn’t the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” after all. More and more “breakthrough” cases of SARS-CoV-2 are happening among those who are double and even triple-vaxxed.
The RNC posed a tweet of Biden’s message to Governors.

President Joe Biden on Monday pledged to support governors struggling with the omicron variant of Covid-19, but acknowledged the states will need to take the lead in controlling the pandemic.
Speaking just before a meeting with some of the nation’s governors, Biden said: “There is no federal solution. This gets solved at a state level.”
Those comments represent one of the most explicit acknowledgements to date from the Biden administration that it will need help from state and local governments in its efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The president may be concerned that federal initiatives to contain the virus can’t be effective without states’ help. The comments could also be an attempt to put added pressure on governors to take a greater role in trying to control the disease.
Of course, Joe also took a swipe at President Trump for not having rapid tests widely available 10 months into the pandemic — but fails to acknowledge that rapid tests were still not widely available 21 months into the pandemic.
In early December, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki mocked the idea of sending out rapid tests to homes…
Jen Psaki somewhat mockingly asks reporter at the White House Daily Press Briefing if the US should be sending out rapid #COVID19 tests to every household.

…and now that’s what the Biden-Harris administration is planning on doing.
A sad video of POTUS 46 shuffling off to head back to his Delaware beach house after his brief meeting with Governors and basically telling them, “it’s up to you, kids.”

But it’s kind of weird that he’s saying this after being in office for a year.
After the election — and the day after the FDA gave Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine — Biden announced his 100-day plan to deal with the coronavirus, which heavily involved getting shots in arms while continuing to push masking-up.
My first 100 days won’t end COVID-19, but we can slow the spread, save lives, and get back to our lives with our loved ones. pic.twitter.com/nz2YkjhQZa

In November 2020, Biden was confident that he could “shut down the virus” as long as Congress continued to pass massive spending bills.
Right now, Congress should come together and pass a COVID relief package like the HEROES Act that the House passed six months ago. Once we shut down the virus and deliver economic relief to workers and businesses, then we can build back better than ever before.

If you look all the way back to October 2020, Biden’s Twitter account was insisting that he was going to “shut down the virus.”
I'm not going to shut down the country.
I'm not going to shut down the economy.
I'm going to shut down the virus.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) October 30, 2020
I’m going to shut down the virus, not the country.

But he did this on the campaign trail as well.
Remember all those times at his weird “socially distanced” car rallies that he said he was going to “shut down the virus”?
Here’s a reminder:

Biden promised to help states, but a couple of governors are saying that the administration hasn’t been as helpful as they claim to be.
Biden vows full federal support to help states combat COVID. But he’s not.
Biden is hoarding the anti-body therapeutic drugs & denying states independent access to that medical treatment.
Now, he has stopped providing any of that medicine to Texas. https://t.co/e0D36ulIpJ

The allocation of monoclonal antibody treatment to states has been a real issue that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been fighting the feds on for several months.
We will continue to work hard to overcome the cutting of monoclonal antibody treatments to Florida by the Biden administration.

And yet, the White House is maintaining that they’re helping.
Yeah, kinda like that Simpson gif of Ralph Wiggum.
Here is the 9-minute video of the President’s conference with Governors that was posted by the White House Communications team.

Unfortunately for the WH Comms, the American people have started to catch on that Joe has no plan.

Even worse, the admission from the President could be very bad news for his administration’s mandates.
What!!!!!!!! Paging SCOTUS. There’s a federal vaccine mandate OSHA’s pushing — here’s an update — https://t.co/hJO19ryY5f

Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, to buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
