PARTISAN PRESSTITUTES: Don Lemon SINGS Over 5-Cent Drop In Gas Prices After WH Whines Over Negative Coverage

The Corporate Media in the United States is absolutely shameless, and CNN has completely thrown out any semblance of journalistic integrity that they may have had.

While their “media watchdogs” Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy are shrieking in an absurdly high-pitched girly voice over what goes on at Fox News, they completely ignore the partisan hackery happening right under their noses.

CNN has become an absolute joke after becoming an official branch of the #ResistanceMedia during the Trump administration while claiming to be a neutral news reporting entity.

But anyone with two brain cells to rub together (sorry, libs!) can tell that CNN is vying with MSNBC to become the official cable news version of Pravda for the Democrats.

The primetime CNN show hosts don’t identify themselves as commentators rather than journalists as Fox News personalities do.

All of the CNN hosts are Libs. You can’t find a single CNN host that isn’t a raging leftist — even ones that claim that they’re “Republican.” Yeah, sure. They’re “Republican” like WaPo’s Jen Rubin or the pedo-hiding grifters over at the Lincoln Project.

Despite being the host of what is clearly an opinion show filled with half-baked ideas, injected with partisan talking points, and liberally sprinkled with race-baiting and bigotry, CNN calls Don Lemon the “anchor” of his eponymous show, “Don Lemon Tonight” thereby conflating the Dumbest Man on TV with a “news anchor.”

On Lemon’s Tuesday night show, he literally sang Biden’s praises because the price of gas that has soared since POTUS 46 took office has dropped a whole nickel.

Lemon called it “big economic relief” for Americans that are shelling out more for gas, food, and electricity because of Biden’s horrendous policies that have made day-to-day life more expensive.

‘Big economic relief for millions of Americans who have been dealing with soaring energy prices,’ declared Lemon on Tuesday night. ‘The price at the pump is finally easing up.’

He pointed to AAA figures showing the price per gallon of $3.35, down from $3.39 last week and $3.42 last month.

The price was, he said, the lowest since October – and then broke into song, trilling: ‘Laaaaa!’

He said the government was forecasting the price will drop to $3.01 by January, although that is still far higher than the $2.15 price of a gallon recorded in December 2020, when Donald Trump was president.

‘Can we just celebrate the good news for a minute? I’ll take it where I can get it,’ he said, clapping as he brought on guest Austan Goolsbee to discuss the numbers.

The positive assessment had been given throughout the day on CNN, with the network claiming the price drop was the biggest in seven weeks, despite not providing exact figures to explain its claim.

Ah, yes. Now that we’ve managed to save a whopping $0.50 to fill up a tank in a crossover, we can retire and put the savings in our basement vault so we can occasionally dive into it like Scrooge McDuck.

Lemon probably cheered when the White House was touting $0.16 savings on some weird combinations of food for a July 4 BBQ.

Last week, Dana Milbank wrote a piece in the Washington Post that suggested that the press is being harder than Biden than they were on former President Trump.

On Monday, CNN had Milbank on to discuss his absurd TDS-infused WaPo column.

CNN’s smarmy little weasel other media watchdog, Oliver Darcy, wrote in the “Reliable Sources” newsletter that White House officials were quietly meeting with higher-ups in the Corporate Media in order to “reshape” the coverage because everything Biden touches turns to crap, and the American people have noticed.

The White House, not happy with the news media’s coverage of the supply chain and economy, has been working behind the scenes trying to reshape coverage in its favor. Senior White House and admin officials — including NEC Deputy Directors David Kamin and Bharat Ramamurti, along with Ports Envoy John Porcari — have been briefing major newsrooms over the past week, a source tells me.

The officials have been discussing with newsrooms trends pertaining to job creation, economic growth, supply chains, and more. The basic argument that has been made: That the country’s economy is in much better shape than it was last year. I’m told the conversations have been productive, with anchors and reporters and producers getting to talk with the officials…

Then, over the weekend, his colleague, CNN’s resident Eunuch Potato, Brian Stelter, brought on Eric Boehlert, a leftist hack from Shareblue, (now called “The American Independent,) a progressive news organization that is owned by Clinton Hack and Media Matters founder, David Brock. Shareblue was named in the 2017 Media Matters War Plan that lays out how progressives planned a 4-pronged assault on Trump’s presidency before it even began. One tactic was a steady drip of negative news.
