Some people may just want to watch the world burn, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to sit back and watch them torch it.

If you haven’t noticed, Hell has been working overtime to drive our country, our culture, our kids, and even our church over a cliff. And the people whose job it’s supposed to be to play their part in keeping a lid on the chaos have been pouring gas on the fire.

Our politicians, our media, our law enforcement, our education system are just a few of the culprits you could add to that list, while we see a conspiracy of misdirection and silence after a terrorist with explicit racial biases mow down children and grannies in a parade.

To read some of the headlines, you’d almost think the DA would be laying charges against the SUV who had kidnapped the hapless driver.

Has the world gone mad, or is there some twisted logic behind what’s going on?

Today’s show covers the sinister logic that’s driving these trends, and what we, as citizens, patriots, and believers can do to turn this ship around.

And the book you heard about in the show? Here it is.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
