When a journalist asked UFC President Dana White what he thought of the 200-plus doctors pushing for Spotify to censor Joe Rogan for “COVID disinformation” — boy did he get a fan-freaking-tastic response!

Back in December, White and several family members tested positive for COVID and called Joe Rogan for advice on treatment. White told TMZ that he, his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law were all “feeling like a million bucks” after following the treatment plan given by “Doctor” Joe Rogan, which included vitamin drips, ivermectin, and monoclonal antibody treatment. He added that five days after testing positive for COVID and following the Rogan Protocol, he tested negative.

Ever since Joe Rogan didn’t die from COVID the “medical experts” who have been wishy-washy with their advice throughout the pandemic  — does anyone else remember wiping down groceries? — they’ve been looking for a reason to cancel the guy for saying the Things That Should Not Be Said.

Recently, a group of more than 270 “doctors and scientists” wrote an open letter to Spotify where they called the 54-year old podcaster a “menace to public health” and demanded that the audio streaming service “moderate misinformation” on their platform — ie. censor Joe Rogan.

White apparently wasn’t familiar with the open letter to Spotify, he still had some thoughts…

MMA Weekly reports:

The UFC Vegas 46 post-fight press conference was wild … and it had nothing to do with the fights.

During UFC president Dana White’s portion of the night, MMA Weekly asked him his thoughts on people trying to discredit Joe Rogan for his COVID theories and treatment ideas.

“I made one phone call and was able to get it done,” White said of getting ahold of the controversial Ivermectin. “You can’t get monoclonal antibodies to save your life now. It’s one of the craziest things I’ve seen in my life. [Joe Rogan]’s been talking about it, I’ve been talking about it. These aren’t experimental drugs, a guy won a Nobel peace prize for it. I bet I can get some f**king pain pills before I get monoclonal antibodies.”

The singular, one-size-fits-all focus on vaccination rather than treatment of COVID was rightfully torn to pieces by White.

Here’s a transcript of the relevant section from the presser.

MMA WEEKLY: Hey, Dana, you mentioned Omicron. When you got sick with COVID, you reached out to Joe Rogan on what to do. I was wondering what your thoughts were with the 200-plus doctors trying to put pressure on Spotify saying that Joe’s a menace to —

DANA WHITE: Are they really?

MMA WEEKLY: Yeah.

DANA WHITE: Well, how about this? Ever since I came out and said what I did, it’s almost impossible now to get monoclonal antibodies. They’re like — they’re making it so you can’t get ’em. You know, medicine that absolutely works, they’re keeping from us. I don’t want to get too political and start getting into all this sh*t, but ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies have been around for a long time. Now, all of a sudden, you can’t dig ’em up to save your life. The doctors won’t give ’em to you. Even when I did it — when I did it here in Vegas which was however many weeks ago… that I had it, like, right before Christmas, I think, or something. I made one phone call and was able to get it done. And that’s not like some f*ckin’ rich, famous-guy sh*t, like, anybody could’ve called. Cause, that’s what everybody always throws at me, “Of course, you could f*ckin’ make a phone call and get it.” Bullsh*t. Everybody could’ve got it back then. You know, Lenay had it. Lenay did monoclonal antibodies and did all that stuff. Everybody could get it. Now — Rogan’s been talking about it, then I went crazy talking about it — you can’t get those things to save your life now. Literally.

MMA WEEKLY: Are you surprised at the backlash that people don’t even want to allow you to discuss options and pre-treatment?

DANA WHITE: It’s disgusting. It’s disgusting. Yeah, it’s one of the craziest things that I’ve ever witnessed in my life. You know? And we’re not talking about experimental drugs or things… Geez, this stuff’s been around. Ivermectin, the guy won a Nobel Peace Prize.

YAHOO SPORTS REPORTER KEVIN IOLE: (Interrupting) You’re a doctor? You’re a doctor?

DANA WHITE: Huh?

KEVIN IOLE: You’re a doctor?

MMA WEEKLY: No, but there’s plenty of doctors that do, uh…

DANA WHITE: There you go. Here he comes! (Chuckling)

KEVIN IOLE: I just asked a question — are you a doctor?

DANA WHITE: No, but I took them and they both worked for me so why shouldn’t I be able to take them again? Or other people.

KEVIN IOLE: I won’t answer —

DANA WHITE: No, come on! Dive in!

MMA WEEKLY: We do have a brain to make our own decisions —

DANA WHITE: Why shouldn’t we able to take them? Right? You want to know what’s scary? Bet I could get some f*cking pain pills quicker than I could get monoclonal antibodies. No, not maybe, that’s a fact. That’s a fact. They f*cking hand out pain pills like they’re tic-tacs.

LANGUAGE WARNING:

Unfortunately, the video cuts off before White says, “Monoclonal antibodies and ivermectin won’t do anything to you, and pain pills kill you. Fact. And I’m not a doctor but that’s a fact!”

You can watch the full presser here. White’s comments begin at around the 18:40 mark.

What exactly is Dana saying that’s wrong here?

Not a damned thing. He’s right.

Why isn’t it that more of the “medical experts” don’t talk about treatment for COVID as frequently as they discuss the vaccines?

It’s clearly because they want to push universal vaccination rather than admit that we’re going to have to find a way to live with the virus.

To clarify some important points on the letter to Spotify from “270 doctors”…

It was widely reported by large, Corporate Media outlets, who are really upset that a comedian with a podcast is leafing them in the dust ratings-wise.

Basically, they hate him ’cause they ain’t him:

Independent journalist, Jordan Schachtel decided to check out who had signed the letter and learned that they were the ones spreading disinformation.

The vast majority of the people who signed the document weren’t MDs at all — the list includes veterinarians, nurses, some med school residents, a handful of science podcasters, students, and a cannabis farmer who has a high school diploma.

…[I]t turns out that only around 100 of the 270+ signatories to the letter are people with qualified medical degrees. And a large chunk of that 100 or so medical doctors are MDs employed at universities who are not in fact practitioners of medicine.

Yet part of the letter reads:

“As physicians, we bear the arduous weight of a pandemic that has stretched our medical systems to their limits and only stands to be exacerbated by the anti-vaccination sentiment woven into this and other episodes of Rogan’s podcast.”

Paradoxically, the disseminators of this petition are guilty of the very misinformation label that they’ve attached to Rogan. In fact, neither of the two reported co authors of the letter — Jessica Rivera and Ben Rein — possess medical degrees. Rivera holds a master’s degree and Rein is a PhD academic who researches psychiatry.

The letter denouncing Joe Rogan and pressuring Spotify to censor his speech has all kinds of random signatories. By my count, the letter is signed by over 50 PhD academics, around 60 college professors, 29 nurses, 10 students, 4 medical residents, and even a handful of… science podcasters.

These are the esteemed “Medical Experts”? How many people have recovered from COVID in record time after taking their advice? Because Rogan’s count is currently at around 40…

We’re going into Pandemic Year 3, and we have multiple vaccines. If people have chosen to remain unvaxxed at this point, the medical authoritarians are best to just drop it. People have made their choices for better or for worse.

What we need to do is start zeroing in on effective treatment options — which is what we should have done early on while the vaccines were in development. When Trump tried to talk about it, he was misquoted and vilified.

It would be nice if we live in a world where the “medical experts” don’t beclown themselves on a daily basis spewing ridiculousness… but here we are.

Thank God that we have people that make sense even if they are a comedian that used to host Fear Factor and the President of the UFC. I’ll take it.

It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.

We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.

It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.

Let’s give them a reminder…
